I’ve been grabbing lunch here once or twice a month since they open and have never been disappointed. Fresh chicken and fries every time, a special seasonal lemonade flavor and close to a dozen sauce options. If im going to spend $9 at McDonald’s I might as well spend an extra $2-3 bucks to get something far better at Huey Magoos

Closest thing to Raising Cane’s in Morgantown. Individual chix tenders meal: The chicken was tender with tasty crispy breading. Crinkle fries with the addition of spices were good, and the accompanying toast was perfect. Standard dipping sauce was alright; it’s a mayo-based alternative to ketchup. Prices were good and this location was clean and inviting. Staff was really friendly and attentive — like, surprisingly great for this area.

My first impression was that this is a cool place, then after eating my Magoo’s Wrap, I realized that it is a really cool place with great food! My chicken was cooked to perfection, the veggies were fresh, and the crinkle-cut fries were crispy and delicious!
Huey Magoo’s staff were friendly and very helpful, as it was my first visit, and I had some questions about the food and the restaurant.
The location is close to the hospitals in the area, and various apartment complexes and local housing areas, which makes it a great place to come and get your lunch or dinner. They have plenty of free parking nearby, which is a bonus!
I will be back often as they have so many different sauce options to try.
I recommend this location to everyone!

Magoo’s holds up to it’s competition, as their chicken tenders and fries are both well seasoned and flavorful. The staff is friendly and service is fast which is an added bonus especially for a fast food restaurant. A good stop for those in Morgantown.

Huey Magoo’s definitely puts the tender in chicken tender. Had the fried tendies with lemon pepper on opening day… Let me tell you, they are not joking about high quality chicken. It was absolutely tender and flavorful. Portion sizes are generous; the 5 piece definitely hit the spot. With a healthy side of fries, slaw, and toast, I was definitely satisfied. Sauce was also on point, tho I wish they had spicier options. The service was friendly and quick.
One note if you dine in, there’s a cold draft from the door that is annoyingly cold, and the door tends to stick open. Hope they get this fixed. Otherwise, highly recommend and this is my new go-to chicken spot in town.

Went there to treat myself, got home with dark brown tenders. Looks like they were fried in old oil. Contacted them right away. All I got in return was an apology email asking g me to give them another chance. No compensation for the low quality order they just served me. Staff friendly, site clean.

We have eaten at this establishment many times. Never an issue. Until today. My wife ordered 2-10 pieces to bring home for our family get together. We are used to normal size tenders, and what we received was appalling. These were “bits” of tenders, about 1/4 the size of the normal tenders.
I never leave reviews, but this is disgusting. We paid almost $40 for $15 worth of chicken tenders. I will be contacting corporate and hope this does not occur in the future.

Good chicken tenders. Large salad with too much weeds for me – more variety of greens and more of the other salad items like carrots and tomatoes would be better. Generous amount of real blue cheese crumbles. Reasonably priced. Nice staff person on register obviously a trainee. Could not get my order right. I wanted two breaded and sauced pieces at $2.04 each and got a kids meal instead. Check your order before you pay.

Ate here for the first time and was impressed. They are mainly known for their chicken tenders- supposedly they use the top 3 percent of the chicken which they call the filet mignon of chicken. Combo meals are served with a side (fries or slaw) and a piece of Texas toast. They have a couple of sauces I believe but not the variety I would like to see. I enjoyed the chicken and sweet tea. Will be back again soon.
