A buttery, crackly pie that tastes like frozen-pizza nostalgia met classic New York slice – best experienced late with drinks (2 under $10, btw) surrounded by a crowd that feels like a friendly local bar in Arkansas, with live Keno glowing and “Comfortably Numb” cover drifting through a veteran community hall.
Our first and somehow the most authentic South Shore pizza we probably had not far from Boston (if traffic allows). I enjoyed that pie way more than I’d anticipated!

This place definitely sets a new precedent for great south shore bar pie. The cheese was great to test it out and the linguica pie took it home. I will definitely be back. Well worth the drive from the north shore.

On our SSBP Pizza Travels we ended up in Randolph, Massachusetts at Hoey’s Pizza inside the Amvets Post 51 . We walked in and placed our pizza order at Hoey’s Pizza Ordering Window paid for the pizzas (FYI Cash Only with ATM on the premises ) and was given a # we placed at our table next to the pool tables were we decided to shoot some pool while we waited for our Pizzas too be brought out to us . Ordered some Ice Cold ❄️ Beers at the Bar. Pizzas ordered : Hamburger and Extra Cheese, Linguica and Onion and Irish Pie All Laced and Cooked Well Done . The Pizzas were Delicious . Hoey’s Pizza Crew did a Great Job . Our Bartender was Awesome! It’s a great place to shoot some pool and enjoy Ice Cold Beers with Delicious Bar Pizza among Veterans . They also have a Beautiful Memorial Honoring Veterans .

Hands down the best pizza I have ever had I drive 15 miles just to get their pizza . The atmosphere at the bar feels like I’m going back in time. It’s an extremely friendly and comfortable place to hang out.

Got to admit I was hesitant at first. But I feel this is a hidden gem. The pizza was amazing the crust was crunchy n flavorful and the pizza tasted like it had the right amount of cheese and sauce. It wasn’t stringy or greasy. Drinks are real cheap I mean like 5.50 cheap and done very well. I like the decor and the friendly energy. The patrons were talking to me like I was a regular. I loved it. A must go to if your in the Randolph area

My pizza was left in the kitchen on the counter getting cold while everyone at the bar was served. They didn’t have change to break a big bill (which is not my problem) I had to wait for the bartender to give me change. I have been here more than 5 times and always paid for my pizza at the bar…then was told my experience never happen these guys never had any issue taking my money directly from the bar any other time. real racist intentions were felt today from some lady I never seen before! Don’t tell me I never been serve at the bar when I clearly have been in the past every single time !!!!! 0 stars!!!!!!!

I finally got to Hoey’s. First, IT’S PIZZA AND SALAD, THAT’S IT. Second, the pizza is good. My problem is that it took so long to get it. I tried calling, but if they fall too far behind, they stop taking phone orders. I really wanted to try it based on reviews by Dave Portnoy and others, so I drove over to place my order in person. It took over 30 minutes to get my food. It was a busy Friday night, but wow. Seeing as how I had to pass 6 pizza places to get it ( I came from Brockton), I’m not sure it’s worth the wait. If you are in the area and get the timing right, it’s good pizza and salad for 20 bucks.
