I stopped by the Egg Roll Queen in Chambersburg, PA. I placed my order via their online ordering system. Note there is a $1.00 convenience charge for online orders. My order consisted of the namesake dish: the humble Pork Egg Roll. Three of them to be exact. I also added a side of Hot Oil and Dumpling Sauce. My order took about 8 minutes to prepare. As I drove away, I attempted to eat one of the egg rolls while driving. The heat produced by a just-fried egg roll from Egg Roll Queen is similar to the heat produced by an active volcano. I held the egg roll by two fingers out the window to cool down as I drove home. The egg rolls were super crispy, hot, and flavorful. I ate the first of three plain, the second was dipped in hot oil, the third was dipped in hot oil mixed with dumpling sauce. What a combo that is! Highly recommend for the egg rolls. Unfortunately, I do not recommend eating egg rolls from the Egg Roll Queen while driving (see picture). Overall, four stars for the Egg Roll Queen in Chambersburg, PA.

Their food is always delicious and the people are so nice. After the lockdowns, they moved to one location and still make the drive out to me, despite being further away now.
Their fried chicken has a crispy skin, and the meat is succulent. Just thinking of it makes me hungry.
The Beef Mei Fun absorbs the flavor and seasoning into the rice noodle in a way that I’ve never experienced before.
For the days when I’m feeling “health conscious” I get the steamed chicken and broccoli with steamed rice and the serving size leaves me satisfied.

The pineapple chicken was ah-mazing! Swift service. Good prices. Great food! We will definitely stop here again if we’re in the area. We parked our semi over at Rutters and walked over. Friendly people!
