This little hole in the wall place doesn’t look like much from the outside. However, the service is fantastic. The food is good and very cheaply priced. It is after all just hamburgers not dogs. Would definitely recommend for somebody looking for that type of food at a great price.

Nice little lunch here. We tried various hot dogs with various toppings as combos with chips and a drink. All of which were good. We got the boudain on a bun. We also got the red beans and rice. (Which was great, FYI it has some meat in it). One disappointing order was the chicken sandwich without the bun, they didn’t have any lettuce and the chicken was a little tough. But overall we had a nice experience here and the prices are more than reasonable. We would recommend this place if you are looking for a no frills quick meal.

I love the Hot Dog Man!!! I have enjoyed his chilli dogs with everything on it (fully loaded) since he had his stand downtown on Washington street back in the day. I love to visit whenever I can when I’m in Vicksburg. Paula always have a warm smile to greet me as she takes my order. I love the fact that the consistency is kept and I know what and who to expect each and every time I visit. I love it…if you’re ever in Vicksburg stop and grab you a few and enjoy❤.

A fun place for a cheap lunch. While in Vicksburg I ate lunch here a couple times a week. The owner was always very friendly. I ate about everything on the menu. I loved the chili dogs, and the Frito pie. I tell all my friends about the hot dog man and would love to open an establishment as fine as this one.

No frills hot dog place – loved the decor. The chili is good and goes nicely with the hotdog. My wife had the frito chili pie and liked it. The prices are reasonable for the type and amount of food. The owners were very nice.

Great service, great staff, very reasonable prices, active owner and good dine-in environment. Chili could use just a little more bite but that’s just my opinion liking spicy chili. Chili dogs were very good nonetheless.

This place is a local icon. A must experience for anyone passing through and a staple for residents. We frequent the hot dog man alot through the summer. It’s one of those things that just can’t be explained.
