Great bar located right off the Newport bridge near the Navy Base. They have outside seating, live music, food, and cigar dinners weekly. Inside and out there is plenty of seating, they have a touch tunes juke box, and a pool table . The staff and owners are great and friendly. If your looking for good drinks, and a fun time, swing by the sportsman’s!

Fantastic place for a night out. The cigar dinner Thursdays are an amazing value, the food is fantastic and there is a ton of it. The cigar patio did a heroic job of staying warm despite the temperature being in the teens.

The place looks a little sketchy but inside is clean and nice. Very friendly atmosphere and good service. It’s a locals bar but they are very friendly. They didn’t have food but they brought in for pizza place. Fun casual atmosphere.

Nice, cozy sportsbar! Everyone is so friendly and polite and the service was great on a Friday night! We ordered the seafood chowder (AMAZING) Newport Beach bread appetizer (SO DELICIOUS) and the Fish n Chips special, which came with 2 huge portions of fish, a TON of french fries with coleslaw. SO. GOOD. Can’t wait to go back! Thanks for the amazing experience!

Little local place very close to the Naval War College. They were BBQing the night I went, although I did not try, it smelled good. Plenty of bourbons to drink. Pool table. Staff was friendly. Would recommend!!

Thanks to Down City Band the joint was packed. Bar service was fast considering the crowd. The crowd wss friendly and the band fabulous, as always. Drinks were priced fair too since there was no cover charge.I’d go again. Not sure about food service though.
