We had a group gathering at King Leroy since it is very close to Amazon It is actually located right next to the Amazon Spheres in downtown Seattle.

Frankly speaking, it is really not an ideal place for a big group because there isn’t a separate area for large parties. The layout is a bit odd too as it seems to share space with a burger shop. And that makes the atmosphere a little confusing.

When it comes to food, the menu does not offer much variety. Most of the dishes taste like typical American bar food that’s been prepped and reheated. Nothing stood out, and I probably would not come here just for the food unless it is convenient for meeting Amazonians since it is on the first floor of one of their buildings.

The highlight of the visit was definitely the drinks. Their house cocktails were excellent. I tried the Hibiscus Paloma, which was really good, but the standout was the Lavender French. I know lavender drinks are popular these days, but this one was VERY AMAZING. I’d actually come back to King Leroy just for that cocktail.

First time at King Leroy and overall pretty good! The Seattle Dog and Chopped Cheese both had great flavor, though the chopped cheese definitely needs sturdier bread—it fell apart quick. Jalapeño hush puppies were solid, just could’ve used more cheese.

Wanted to try the wings but $18 for 6 felt a little steep, so I’ll be back during happy hour to grab them at a better price. Flavor-wise though, they’re on the right track and I’d come back to try more!

This bar was super friendly! My experience isn’t gonna fit most people’s as I came in had some chips and a sprite and colored for a bit to sober up before driving home. It was early in the night so pretty empty which was great. Bartender checked in on me often. I plan to stop by again and try some drinks this time

I wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately, that’s not an option. Our visit to this restaurant was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

First off, the bartender served us a tasting and literally didn’t know there was alcohol in one of the drinks he gave us. Not exactly confidence-inspiring when it comes to the service.

Then it got even worse: we ordered three jello shots and, incredibly, two of them arrived with actual mold on top. The third wasn’t any better because instead of a jello shot, we got a ketchup packet. Yes, you read that right—a ketchup packet.

Needless to say, we didn’t stick around to see what else could go wrong. Proceed at your own risk if you’re considering dining here!

Fantastic place with friendly faces, good music, great booze, and decent food. The prices are pretty good as well for a bar downtown. Shoutout to Adam for being a great bartender and host!

The burgers here are fantastic. The patties are incredibly juicy and well-seasoned. Staff are friendly, patient with questions, and make good recommendations if you are stuck between a couple of options. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, the kind of spot where you can show up in casual clothes. If in the mood for a proper burger and fries, this place is absolutely worth the stop.

As someone who goes to this bar frequently on business and was excited to recommend it to friends on a night out, we had an extremely negative experience at the bar on 1/28 at 10-11:30pm. The bartender’s behavior unfortunately overshadowed what should have been a fun birthday outing. I casually asked if there was anything complimentary for a birthday and was told I could purchase my friend a shot, which we did (a whiskey shot).

The bartender rudely called after us asking if we were going to close out for the shot. When I responded, he then said, “I don’t give handouts to people that tip so poorly.”

Regardless of tipping, that comment was unprofessional and unnecessary. Speaking to customers that way—especially during a birthday celebration—felt disrespectful and not reflective of good hospitality. I won’t be returning.

Giving it one star for food and service, want to give no stars. The bartender was nice at first, after we ordered we got ignored the rest of the time. Made eye contact with the bartender to order, and he turned to walk in the opposite direction just to lean on the counter to talk to his co worker.. the food gave me food poisoning keeping me up, throwing up until 3am. Will never return. And it’s overpriced for reheated microwaved food.

Stopped in for a quick lunch so I can’t comment on the bar aspect, but the cauliflower wings were pretty good. I like that they were very lightly breaded, and had a nice pickled flavor. I did not like the BBQ sauce. Chicken wings were good too, just on the pricey side for a few wings. Nice atmosphere and service was prompt.
