The food is good. Best hibachi in Kinston which isn’t saying much. However when you walk in the restaurant you will see all the signs, charge extra for card, charge extra for sauce, don’t use trash, don’t move tables, check food before you leave their not responsible for issues. Price is OKAY, however you really don’t revive that much food. I really wish someone would open another hibachi in kinston to compete. I love the food just hate dealing with the owners! They do not appreciate your business trust me. Oh yea, you want a refill on your drink. Be ready to pay another 1.00. More signs in the place about what you can’t do and extra charges than anywhere I have ever been

I’ve been eating at this Hibachi Express for years and I’ve always loved there food. Customer service in the past has lacked, however, since the pandemic I feel as though it has improved. They are not doing dine in only pick up. I called my order in over the phone and when I got there it was ready to be picked up. They do have a rule of only one card per person so if you’re a business and one person picks up multiple orders for different people be aware they will only accept one card. I got the chicken entrée and my co-worker got the chicken and mushroom bowl. My food was warm and delicious. I would recommend.

Couldn’t really tell how the food tasted considering there wasn’t enough food to even be able to taste. I paid $12 for the most simple entree, hibachi chicken and it was the size for a 4 year old toddler. IF YOU ARE HUNGRY, DONT COME HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL LEAVE HUNGRY TOO. It’s genuinely price gauging for the portion size to price. Any other hibachi place, $8-$9 will get you TWICE the amount that this place will. Never coming back here again.

I think these guys deserve better reviews. First time I’ve ever eaten here and the food was fresh and really good. You never know what you’re going to find when you open that container when ordering from one of these places for the first time. Sometimes the chicken looks and tastes more like mystery meat than actual chicken. This was really, really good and cooked perfectly. I had the hibachi chicken bowl.

As of October 23, 2034 the Food is extremely good. Appears to be more of a locals mom and pops type Japanese Hibachi Express for takeout. There are a couple of tables for dining in. Definitely appears to be a locals favorite.

Went in today and got a shrimp combo. The shrimp tasted and smelled nasty. I went up and asked the Asian lady if I could get another plate and that I would pay the difference. The lady rudely said no, she shouted at me that it how seafood smells. After I insisted and told her that I had tasted many shrimp and none tasted like that she finally let me pay the difference and gave me another plate. Also she gave my 3 year old a rude stare when my daughter was being a child trying to open the cabinet below the fork counter. Customer service is horrible! Will not be going ever again!

Ordered a full entree instead of a bowl and got less food but paid more money…how should this be?! And was informed that I had to pay an additional $1.50 if I used my card?! Needless to say, I won’t be going back…not too pleased with the service!

They have the best filet mignon with zucchini and onions I’ve ever had . Oh and the white sauce is second to none!!! Absolutely delicious however a bit pricey! For 2 platters with double filet it’s every bit of $40 but it’s delicious!! Also they are not open on Saturday or Sunday also during the week they close from 2 until 4 so sometimes it’s not as convenient as it once was. Just the same really scrumptious!
