This place has really changed since I last visited home in 2007! They have really put 40 million to good use in the rebuilding of the lodge. I wished they could have used some
of that to find workers with a smile on their face and customer service skills. We walked into the restaurant and was greeted with two sulking hostesses that never one time had a smile on their face. One had an attitude when we were trying to explain to her what time our reservation was for. After we got seated our server came to the table. She was polite, lacking a smile and not very friendly at all. The food was sub-par at best. Portions were super small. The broccoli tasted like propane, the salmon was extremely salty, the lamb was decent. The only thing that was really, really good was the banana pudding. The best I have ever had!

This is a gorgeous restaurant on the water! Indoor & outdoor seating with fire pits available. Fully stocked bar & the food we have tried so far has been good. The Ranch dressing is homemade…say no more & the Club and chicken sandwich were good for the price. Definitely put this spot on your places to try out.

I had lunch with a friend and this is a half way point for she and I. We discussed where we wanted to eat and I’m thrilled we agreed on this. I had the berry margarita and the summer salad minus the mandarin oranges. They both were sensational. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. It offers incredible food and a gorgeous view.

After having a bad experience at the Lodge restaurant Fall Creek Falls, we were leary. However, this restaurant has it all together. The food is very good. It’s unique in its own way. Excellent burgers. The BBQ nachos will feed 2 people as a meal. Can’t beat the view. Everyone was very kind and hospitable. Pricing is a little high, but that’s to be expected anymore.

Fantastic meal and drinks! Amanda, our bartender and server, was exceptional. Her description of the foods and recommendations were spot on. We had the pan seared chicken and for dessert the fried egg roll stuffed with cheesecake and banana pudding were delicious. The lodge, restaurant and grounds are beautiful!! What a great place for a winter vacation. We visited from our boat that was anchored within view.

We eat here often and love the view of the lake, but when busy can be a bit noisy. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We also enjoy their brunch on Sundays. Prices are a little more than the average in the area, but the food is fresh, and their burger is my husband’s favorite.

The best thing about this restaurant is the location. The inside of the restaurant is sterile and gives cafeteria vibes. The staff is mostly completely aloof and gives off the impression that they don’t want to be there. I get that they probably would like to be anywhere else, but in that line of work (especially when you’re working for tips), it probably shouldn’t be so obvious.
The food is mediocre, at best. I’ve eaten there twice. The first time, the food was just okay. This last time, the “special” was supposed to be three pieces of fried chicken with truffle Mac n cheese. I received one piece of a small, overly cooked piece of roasted chicken with the side. The chicken was so dry that it was tough to chew, and I almost couldn’t swallow it. If it weren’t for the outdoor patio and view, there would be no reason to eat at this restaurant.

My favorite place to eat! The ribeye is the BOMB! Breath taking views with fire pits. Super nice staff. We drive a hour one way to eat there and it’s so worth it!
