Had such a great experience at Bonbon Ipswich! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious—definitely worth coming back for! The place was very clean when we visited, and even the toilets were spotless, which says a lot about how well they look after the place. Highly recommend!

Been meaning to come here for ages, and was not disappointed!

Came for breakfast and had a crepe and a side. Amazing pastries and cakes too!

The staff are incredible, and the atmosphere is lovely with families and couples playing the games available on offer (Jenga!) and everyone having a great time.

Absolutely love this place. The food is always on point and the service is friendly and efficient.
The sausage rolls are incredibly morish and come in many flavours, ploughman’s is my go to choice. The selection of sweet treats will leave you wanting more it’s hard to pick just one and I always end up with a few.

Nice cafe in the centre of Ipswich. It’s bigger than you think and is full of tempting things to eat and drink!

It’s also possible to buy some great niceties to take away or for your own events.

Coffee ☕ is good and croissant was a four out of five. My friend had some very nice crepes!

Fun layout with a curved seat at the back (if you want to sit there suggest you reserve it)

Very enjoyable cafe slightly spoiled by poor music playing too loud. Doesn’t need music to be honest.

We love bonbon! The cakes are amazing, but the meals are also delicious and a good price. I prefer the coffee to the high street coffee chains too. We took my parents in law for lunch once, and now they ask to go there every time we visit!

Came here for a work lunch, ordered a chicken caesar salad. Large portion, very saucy. £11 I’ve added a photo. It’s a great place to visit if you’re short of time. You go up and order which is handy and the food is brought out in no time.

I’ve been here a number of times, reasonably priced & generous portions. I’ve had caesar salad mushroom pasta & carbonara.

Added a photo of my carbonara, unfortunately tasteless (£9) and a photo of my mushroom and truffle oil pasta (£8.50)

Nice calm atmosphere, outside seating for a people watch.

Had the worst experience here. waited over an hour for a kids pancake and when I queried it the owner got so angry and defensive about it. I asked for a refund for the pancake (as everyone else had their food and was almost finished) and instead got a plate of sandwiches??? When I asked again for a refund he said the pancake machine wasn’t on and I was going to have to wait longer. Again, asked for a refund so we could leave and he smacked the cash down on my table in such a mean and angry manner that some of the coins ended up on the floor. Me and my family were there for a birthday celebration and this certainly put a big dent in the day. I left upset and intimidated by the owner, will never return after this first impression of the place

A great little gem, nestled in the centre of Ipswich. We ate here for lunch and both the food and service was fantastic – I’d definitely recommend the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. As well as good savoury options, there’s also a great selection of sweet baked goods. A great option if you’re looking for somewhere to eat lunch in Ipswich town centre.
