Ordered medium spicy pad Thai. The portion size was great for the meantime and for leftovers as well. The medium spicy was the perfect blend because it was tolerable and flavorful. I liked the chicken as well. The texture was good – not tough and seasoned well.

Delicious food. We ordered Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Tom Kha, and Brussels Sprouts with Thai Tea. We chose Thai Spice level and was glad we did. All food was spot on! We ordered way too much food for two people and had a ton of food to take home! Best surprise was the Brussels Spouts.♥️ Will come back again soon. Thank you!

Stopped by on a snowy day and this place was just great. The staff and owners were incredibly kind and welcoming.
Honestly, I’ve never had a bad experience with Thai food, but this was excellent. We chose the Tom Yum and the Basil Stir Fry, and we ordered the stir fry at the top level of spiciness (Thai spicy level).
The food was fantastic, and that spicy Basil Stir Fry hit the spot perfectly. Loved it!

I visited Green Basin on Street, Chicago and tried their mango salad it was fresh, light, and really well balanced.
The mango was perfectly ripe, and the salad had a nice mix of sweetness and tangy flavors, making it very refreshing. It felt healthy without compromising on taste. The ambience was calm and comfortable, and the overall experience was quite pleasant.

I came upon this place running an errand from work. I love Thai cuisine and I love Basil so I decided on 1/12/26 to pay them a visit. When I walked in, I wanted to look at the menu and order. One of the male workers walked up to me and was welcoming me to the place and was giving me some information. I really just wanted to look at the menu so I waited until he finished so I could get to the menu to order. They had egg fried rice and I asked them if they could do shrimp fried rice with basil. They refused. I then asked if they could do the egg fried rice but add shrimp in it along with basil and they told me that there would be a $3 upcharge for the shrimp and a $3 upcharge for the basil. I said fine. So, my bill was over $24. When I got my food, I was totally disappointed. What I got was egg fried rice along with a shrimp with basil sauce dish. This isn’t what I asked for. What the business has on their 11/13/25 Yelp photo is what I wanted, simple Shrimp Fried Rice with Basil.
I love egg in my fried rice but the egg is grounded up so small in the fried rice – make the egg with bigger pieces. The shrimp basil dish had lots of green beans, some of which were cooked all the way through and some which weren’t but there were some that had brown spots on them (see photo) so that let me know these weren’t fresh.
The positives is that it’s in a prime location (I think they are fairly new). They use actual silverware when dining in. Their hard plastic glasses are nice as I used them to get some water in. They have soy sauce bottles on the table by the flatware if you want to use it, however, it was only low sodium which tastes completely different from regular soy sauce. Have both so customers can decide.
This isn’t a place I think I would come back to. They are new and are still working out stuff but I just wasn’t satisfied at my visit to really give them another chance.

I had the tom kha soup with tofu and a side of egg fried rice. Both were delicious! Perfect for a cold day.
I like the system of ordering and paying at the table using the QR code (or you can order at the counter).

This is some of the best Thai food I have ever had! Can’t recommend it highly enough. I loved the drunken noodles. The chicken and vegetables were so fresh and the noodles were delicious! Definitely give it a try.
