I love this place, but when I last went, I tried to go to the women’s restroom and a guy with a baseball cap went in right in front of me when I tried to go in and stayed in there for a long time and started getting violent when I said I needed to use it and tried to say he was the owner. Whether or not he actually was the owner, that’s extremely rude, completely unacceptable, and he should be ashamed to do that to a paying customer. The rest of the people there are great though.

I’ve been a long time goer to this place and its been great, but the last time I went, my girl tried to use the restroom because she really had to go, some guy with a cap just went in right in front of her as she was going to go in and closed and locked the door and stayed for a long time and said to use the mens restroom. And when she kept trying to ask him to get out of the women’s restroom he got super violent with his responses and was trying to say he was the owner. I highly doubt it, an actually good owner wouldn’t act like that to a paying customer. If he was or wasn’t, that’s just terrible, shameful, and gross behavior to do that to a paying customer and especially a woman, she could’ve gotten an infection for having to wait as long as we did, we had to leave in a rush to take her to another restroom because he refused to get out. Everyone else that works there is really cool and chill though.

Came through to the local spot for a pitcher of Mango Cart and I had a great time. I’ve been here more than a handful and each visit I’m caught off guard by the vibe in a pleasant way. They have a huge looking door, once you open it and have announced your presence- you’re in. The size of the tavern is modest and, yes, it is a tavern so if you’re looking for a cocktail you would be advised to go elsewhere, beer seekers only. That being said, there is a charm to the place, a dive charm and depending on the clientele for the evening you can lean into a metal vibe, or lean towards a hip hop vibe or the average in-between. There is a pool table towards the back and can be the more popular spot of the establishment. Overall a great spot to drop in a throw back a few after a long day by yourself or with a couple of friends. Great decor with various rock bands and artists adorn the ceilings. In recent times due to the pandemic they’ve put glass shields between the tables and spanning across the bar, it is great to see that level of consideration. One drawback that it is a bit awkward to place your bar order due to the glass and the masks and music layered on top, but the bartender is more than happy to bring the order to your table and checks up quite often , or often enough to where you are not stuck on empty. Full marks from the local.

$7.50 for a Miller Lite. That seems over priced to me. The Tender Trap in Covina charges $3.50
You can sheer sheep several times but skin him only once.

It’s pretty small. A local dive bar. Good to go if you’re just looking to drunk and maybe play some pool. It’s very small and not too busy

It’s a small hole in the wall, but it’s a good spot to hang out. It’s a bit small and on weekends it’s really crowded which minimises pool table time, service and the juke box.

It’s great when the right bartender is there! As a customer, they should be more friendly, not act like they hate their job!

People there are nice. I just went to hang out with friends. I don’t drink, a bit pricey for a can of coke.
