I’ve heard a lot of good things about Zanti’s and had to give it a try. I got the Muffuletta and was blown away! The olive spread had a great flavor and the meat was tender and plentiful. I also really liked the parmesan dusted bread. The staff was friendly and fast. It isn’t a big storefront, so there isn’t a lot of seating, but I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

The wife and I finally made it to Zanti’s Deli, a place we’ve been wanting to try for a few months, especially since I saw photos of their pastrami, my favorite meat.
I love me some reuben, corned beef or pastrami but on the board today they had pastrami and grilled onions on rye so I decided to give it a try, substituting french roll for the rye, choosing spicy mustard over their white sauce. Karla is an admittedly very picky eater, choosing a simple ham and cheddar on sour dough.
The restaurant is fairly small, maybe three or four small tables, but we arrived mid afternoon and quickly found an empty table. Ambiance is best described as “we encourage take-out”. Owner Jami was at the counter and she is truly awesome; kind, patient, friendly, the whole nine yards.
Let there be no doubt the pastrami was the star of the show. Holy cow it was so very tender and juicy AND flavorful, some of the best pastrami I’ve ever had. I was initially disappointed that it wasn’t sliced deli thin like one of my favorites, Carl’s Deli, but my disappointment faded immediately upon first bite. Wow! This may be my new favorite pastrami in the metro. Thick cut was definitely the right move for this house made pastrami. Jami threw in a small cup of their white sauce to try and I’m so glad she did. If you like a mild but flavorful horseradish sauce, you won’t be disappointed by their white sauce.
Karla really enjoyed the ham and cheese. The ham was so plentiful, we took some off of the sandwich and brought it home with us to make another sandwich out of. She would have much preferred Texas toast over the sourdough but she said the sandwich was nonetheless tasty with flavorful ham.
Both sandwiches came with a side of pasta salad. Full disclosure, I’m not a cold pasta salad fan but it was tasty. Karla absolutely loved the pasta salad with its sweet and slightly tangy dressing.
Overall, a super wonderful experience. We plan to return soon to try other things on the menu but I’ve gotta be honest. It’s going to be tough for me to skip the pastrami.

Have never been disappointed in anything I try here. Sandwich’s are always packed full with tons of flavor. My top 2 picks are the Ribeye melt and Smoked Chicken melt but there are a lot of other sandwich’s to pick from. You will also see specials not normally on the menu. Keep an eye out for the Smokehouse Donor if it ever returns. They do have other options such as St Louis style pizza that is great as well. You can pick to have the traditional provel or substitute mozzarella cheese…..add some bacon…you won’t be disappointed.

Stopped in for lunch and had a delicious meal. They do not skimp on their sandwiches. I ordered the pineapple chicken sub which came warm with pieces of smoked chicken, pineapple rings, banana peppers and a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. My bf ordered the brisket gorgonzola sandwich and it was MASSIVE. The bread it was served on was so soft. We will be back!

Side note: they have 3 small tables inside and 2 picnic tables outside.

Good food and very nice and helpful staff. Had the Hawaiian chicken sandwich. Very tasty! The pasta salad is on the sweet side but pretty darn good. The only issue we had was the temp. It was a hot day and hot inside. They get a lot of hype and deserve it.

We decided to check out this small deli for a quick dinner. The Italiano sandwich was great. It was great bread piled thick with meats and other items that made for a very tasty sandwich. I got a 10 inch and have 1/2 left over for a 2nd meal.

What a great deli. The sandwiches and pasta salad are absolutely wonderful. Lots of take and bake items. Gift ideas, shelves with ready to buy ingredients oh and the Gelato!!. One thing I was hoping for was an Italian type lettuce salad. Next time to try another sandwich.
