My stromboli was about 3lbs and it was all mozzarella cheese and hardly any steak and ham. The grease was pouring out of the top and made for a very messy meal. I’m disappointed because every other time I have gotten food from there it has been extraordinary.

We ordered a NY style pizza which had little to no sauce on it. No we didn’t order the white pizza. Other than that the pizza was good. The fried mushrooms were top notch and the salads were good too. We called our order in and it took 2x the time they told us it would take to be ready. Overall, their food is good.

Ray’s NY Pizza is an absolute gem! I ordered a calzone and it was packed to the brim with toppings—seriously loaded—and every bite tasted amazing. The dough was perfectly baked, the fillings were generous and flavorful, and it was clear everything was made with care. Food slaps! I come here for take out or delivery at least twice a month and have consistently for years! I like their cheese steaks, steak or chicken roll, chicken Alfredo, and pizza. The sausage on the pizza isn’t the rubbery kind but more crumbly which I prefer! They are lucky I live off lynnhaven or I’d be here even more often.

Ordered 18inch meat lovers pizza. It’s phenomenal just recently moved to Virginia Beach from norfolk. Saw this place had extremely great reviews I can see why. The pizza wasn’t just like a regular one. It had amazing flavor to it tons of depth not like most places out here I’ve tried where they throw sauce cheese and toppings on it taste bland. You can tell Ray’s ny pizza puts there all into it! Thanks guys can’t wait try more of the food!

The pizza was a bomb and I literally mean that. You won’t want to it when it’s warm or cold and you’ll burn your mouth since you eat hot and the flavors dance in your mouth and explode. The pizza is so good that it gets better as each bite is taken. Once you start reaching the crust, that’s when the pizza starts getting extraordinary good. The combos are so cheap, it’s like they’re scamming me and they aren’t. A true taste of New York pizza. I’ll come back.

Grabbed some takeout from here after a day at the beach. The atmosphere was a bit bare. Not much decor, and the bathrooms were very dirty. The pizzas on display looked tasty.
The food I got was good! I ordered a vegetarian sub with fries and an order of fried mushrooms. The portions were big! The sub could have used a little more sauce- a bit dry. Shall I return, I’ll have to give the pizza a shot.

I order from this this pizza restaurant every weekend and they have a new young lady that’s working here and I called three times to make sure that the number was correct and then she was in the Newtown shopping center and she kept telling me no and when I approached the counter she was very rude and nasty and because of that I will no longer shop at this pizza restaurant. Fix your customer service, don’t care where you from and who you are. You need to be nice and if you can’t speak English or I understand then that’s not our problem
