This is a cool spot for a quick bite. Our server (I believe his name was Akeem or something similar) was super sweet and accommodating. His service was 10/10. Our food was pretty good. Everyone loved their burgers and the kids loved their food as well. Price wasn’t bad at all. Def a cool spot if you’re staying in the area and hungry after 5 pm 🙂

I got a berry salad to-go and it was perfect! I was staying at the Hyatt across the street, but I wanted a decent, healthy option. My hotel didn’t have any good options, so I went here. Good size salad with a good amount of toppings and quick, friendly service. I’d definitely do it again!

After checking into the hotel at 11:45 and being told the restaurant was open until midnight, I quickly went directly to my room to drop bags. I turned around and back downstairs at 11:50 to get a Cobb salad and a glass of wine to take back to my room. The person counting cash at the bar failed to acknowledge me until I finally said, “hello ..?” She looked like she had no idea why I would be bothering her. When I asked about a Cobb salad she told me kitchen was closed (quote, ran out of a bunch of things) and did not offer me a drink or otherwise (guessing they didn’t run out of wine but I could be wrong). It’s been a long evening of weather delays flight events and I didn’t have the energy to press the issue. I’m only here for one night, and I’m guessing that’s common given so close to the airport. I’m sure I will eat this protein bar and sleep just fine before catching my flight out in the morning.

Slowest restaurant I have ever been to. Waited for 40 minutes and the servers kept walking past me. They kept saying “we’ll be with you in five minutes”, but never did. They were only catering to a single family at the restaurant. Could not even get a glass of water. Had to leave for the airport at one point.

First sign of trouble was the beer came out headless. Food was not any better.
The fries originally came out room temperature. They remade them upon asking. I requested the burger without any LTO, but it was still included and the bun was bordering on stale.
The waitress rudely remarked “What, your fries weren’t hot enough?” when I had eaten half of the fries. I left half my meal there as it was unappealing and am now eating a Clif bar in the room. I also drank half the beer but couldn’t tolerate drinking anymore as it was flat due to the lack of head.
Overall, there are major opportunities for improvements and better training. I wish I had taken the time to look up reviews before going.

Why is the burger patty crunchy?!?!?! Literally burnt. I ordered a medium well burger and noticed halfway through eating it , that it was cooked Well Done. When i brought it to the attention of the staff they offered me a discount. A whopping $2!!! That was the discount. Whoopty Do!!! Stay away

Now I’m not gonna lie, if you say this food isn’t good, you probably ordered the wrong thing! I came in tonight before close, I got steak meal with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies, daughter got lemon pepper wings and loaded fries!! Y’all… this food was delicious !! I was in the area and we were starving. I came across The Burger Place on Yelp and decided to give it a try.
The restaurant is INSIDE the hotel so don’t get confused when driving into the parking lot. Also, you have to go through the hotel’s main entrance to get to the restaurant.
Upon walking in, the restaurant was very spacious and was super clean. The waiter/host/bartender was very lackluster, however, considering it was the end of the night, I can understand. Nonetheless, I sat at the bar and was provided a menu. Upon taking a look at the menu (which is limited in comparison to the other restaurants in the area), I was advised that there was No Wings, and No Caesar Dressing… Ok! Allow me to take a moment as a patron to say, I think it would have been a better experience had I been advised this upon being provided the menu opposed to as I am literally placing my order.
Me: “May I get an order of wings, we’ll done…”
Waiter: “We’re out of wings!”
Me: “May I get the Caesar Salad
Waiter: “We’re out of Caesar Dressing! We only have burgers!”
At this point my experience at The Burger Place is less than pleasing, however, as I’m never against a good burger, I ordered “The BBQ Burger, well done”
It took a while for the burger to be ready, which I expected as I concluded the food was made to order as well as I asked for well done.
When my food arrived I was very pleased by the visual presentation. The burger was very meaty and the burger fixings were very fresh. Also, the potato wedges were a pleasant surprise and were perfectly done.
To my dismay, when I bit into my burger it was medium well. As you can imagine, based on my burger being medium well I was perplexed at the cause for the extended wait. Moving forward, I must admit that the burger was very well seasoned. The flavor profile of the burger was amazing and the quality of beef was good quality.
As it relates to my experience as a whole, I will rate it a solid 2 out of 5.
