Shirley, owner since 1976 makes a really juicy traditional hamburger, best we’ve had in forever. Ended it with a tasty soft serve twist cone and a butterfinger tornado. Classic small diner we liked it so much we bought a t-shirt, which is rare for us, but you find something you really like it’s nice to remember it.

This is my favorite place to stop for food on the interstate. Best prices around. Make sure to bring cash!

So glad I just happened to find this place.
My husband just randomly got off the interstate to find a place to park for a bit and I spotted this gem across the street.
Best dang milkshake I’ve gotten in the country. We are over the road truckers and I’ve had plenty of subpar shakes compared to this one.
I saved the location in my maps and am actually gonna stop in today for lunch.
I’m gonna try the food this time so I’ll update to give my opinion. I’d say it’ll be just as good as the shake was.
BTW the little fellers helping out at the family shop was a treat to see. Good job momma, raising them little men to be hard working and respectful.

Stopped here on a trip from west to east and was encouraged by the high reviews. I ordered the pork loin sandwich and the woman who made it used her bare hands to get the pickles out of the container and put them on my sandwich, which is a health violation. I asked about their chicken salads and was told that they are not made in the restaurant, they buy them at the grocery store and serve them as-is. From the reviews, I expected hole-in-the-wall hidden gem but it seems like all this place does is buy food from the grocery store and throw in a box or the fryer before handing it to you.

As a kid I’d come here every summer on my way to camp. Now, nearly 50 … we still stop when we drive through. It may be a little ‘rustic’ but it’s honestly perfect! And THE BEST ice cream and burgers !!!

Absolutely a little gem off the beaten track. The service was great; there was only one lady running the place, and she was very nice.

The burger was absolutely one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. It’s nothing fancy, but you don’t need fancy to have a good tasting meal. The price was outstanding too.

Well worth going to if you’re passing by!

Great little locally owned Dairy Sweet. Had a wonderful chocolate malt. Has a fairly extensive menu for such a small place. I will definitely be back.
