This should not be called a Haitian restaurant. I order fish and black rice. Food was not fresh. The fish had to be at least a day or so old. Dry and just nasty.
Rice was not seasoned. I have had plenty of Haitian and Jamaican food. Never was giving food I couldn’t enjoy. Keep in mind the plates aren’t cheap. If anyone wants authentic Haitian and Jamaican food go to Irvington or Plainfield. Food is always fresh. Cooked that morning bright and early to be served to paying customers. Word of advice to the owner… leftover food should be given to your family and friends, not to paying customers. We don’t want to eat old food and pay $20+ for the meal. I would rather have fast food at this moment. KFC, Chinese, etc. First and last time I would order from here.
I would not recommend at all.

Came into this Haitian restaurant for the first time to grab some food to go quickly & chose the white rice, legume & bean sauce. The lady who served me my food was nice & respectful. And the food was delicious! I will be returning & recommending the place to people.

The best! This place is a staple in Elizabeth. At Two Brothers, you get the real American breakfast experience. What a wonderful feeling to walk back to my little breakfast joint and to enjoy this guys’s cooking. Thank you for the love you put into this. I love your business!

I am from Florida I came to visit my family to Paterson, and we went to eat to this particular place.
Very bad , the food very salty, I mentioned to the server, and she said sorry.
The rest of the food was bad also, the chef never came out to said something, or try to get a better plate, the food was expensive and bad quality.
Also when we got the bill was a full charge.
It is a bad place , doesn’t take credit cards, only cash, the y have an ATM to take extra money from your pocket.
This is my experience.
I will never comeback.

Warm, friendly, mom and pop establishment . Kind of run down, but clean. The food is good. I have a really sensitive stomach and the food didn’t bother me one bit. Oh the coffee is Not the greatest. It’s a little weak. The kind you get from the corner store.I like strong coffee. Only drawback, NO DEBIT CARDS, cash only. Other than that it’s a thumbs up.

they are located in a very good location. I ordered oxtails which came with salad and plantain. When I got home I see there where 3 small oxtails on and like 8 cups of rice. They also gave me a small amount of gravy in a small container. The meat was flavorful but under cooked . The next day my stomach was in horrible pain and I spent most of the day in the bathroom .

Some people do not even try or bother to try. This restaurant seating, cleanliness and the service horrible but the food made myself and my son sick. Overpriced and underwhelming to save the least. Will never return.

Nice old school restaurant with friendly staff. I recommend the spaghetti with meat sauce on Wednesdays or Salmon platter on Fridays. Inexpensive with generous portions. The breakfasts are great too- I love the French toast with bacon or ham egg and cheese on a roll. Just one complaint- Bring cash! they don’t take credit or debit cards.
