Overall good. I couldn’t give 5 stars because I felt something weird. I ordered fried shrimp entry for my first entry which charges $1.25 I believe. I don’t remember exact price for it but it charged extra. Anyways, they purposely take shrimps out of my tray. It means my first entry was filled only half way. And then she filled second entry with orange chicken and added more orange chicken on my first entry which was filled only half to fill the rest.
Taste is good and I don’t see difference with other panda express restaurants. I say I give 4.5 stars.

This Panda Express on campus is terrible compared to other Pandas. I don’t live on campus and only go here when my friends want to go, and they consistently give you the smallest portions of any Panda I’ve ever been to. My friend orders here all the time and his bowl always has a half a scoop of sides on it. With such high prices the food here is definitely not worth it. And the service from the student workers is subpar compared to other places. They give you tiny portions and they really don’t care.

10/10/2023 around 1pm I bought the food there, then forgot that I didn’t have my water bottle so I went back to ask for a cup of water. This lady that has an awful attitude of seeing me come back. I remembered I was politely asking for a cup of water because I already purchased food from them but she was giving me side eyes and rolled up her eyes when handing me the water. I am very upset with her attitude, I believe none of the customers would want to encounter such irrespective service. I will keep this horrible rate until you guys checked the camera and give this girl a warning. This ruined my day as I was just trying to have some good Chinese food.

Food is pretty tasty for being campus food. The upside is they also utilize Tapingo. Tapingo is a app that allows you to order ahead of time and pick it up when it’s ready. No more waiting in lines. Perfect for the Student or Employee who doesn’t have time to wait in lines.

It’s asian-themed chain food in a food court @ UCI. Not going to critique Panda Express, just want to point out that *none* of the food vendors here on campus honor the promo offers of their franchise main office from advertising out in the real world. Just the way it is in the on-campus food options here @ UCI, so don’t bother taking some coupon you found online or in the paper with you.
