I’m from Memphis so I’m a bbq fiend and it’s hard to find good spots here in chatt. This place is top of my list for bbq and soul food now. Mama yo was really sweet, great prices for so so much food. Every bite was perfect, pulled pork was super saucy and tender, exactly how I like it. Phone did not eat first but it came with a roll and I still have so many leftovers. All for $15!

Incredible vibes from a wonderful couple. Hard workers, full of hospitality and kindness. Great tunes bumping nearby. And the food? Incredible. Just amazing. We happened to find Mama Yo’s while visiting Chattanooga from Charlotte, NC over the Memorial Day weekend. Lucky us! The food was so delicious and we were treated like family and the music was great too! Generous servings, we had plenty to take back to the hotel for a snack later. Highly recommend

5 Stars all around. These are the best greens I’ve ever had in my life. Hence why my plate is empty of them! The pulled pork? 100/2 so good. The bbq sauce is amazing! Best I’ve ever had as well. I didn’t even make it to my macaroni because the portions are perfect and I started with everything else I was full by the time I got to it.
Definitely coming back. It’s so worth it. It’s also so nice to just sit outside and listen to the world while you eat. It’s peaceful.
You will find me here again. Probably every Sunday after church. You gotta stop driving by and debating stopping like I did. Stop. Pay for the food. Enjoy it. You won’t regret it.

Everything was amazing! Ordered the pulled pork plate with mac & cheese, greens, potato salad, & baked beans. The greens alone are worth my 45 minute drive. Yolanda and her husband are the sweetest and make you feel like family as soon as you pull up. Will definitely be adding this to our favorites list! ❤️

Just had pulled pork sandwich and mac & cheese. The sandwich was not slathered with BBQ sauce like it is at so many places, allowing the natural flavor of the smoked meat to shine. And it was absolutely delicious! Mac & cheese is the baked kind (my favorite) and loaded with cheese. Mama Yo took my order and prepared my food. She was friendly and happy. She prepares everything, including a nice selection of sides. Atmosphere is authentic! I will be back to try the ribs! Support local business- try Mama Yo’s!
