Sarah K’s has been open for a number of years and is perennially popular with many local residents. It is located in a shopping center, does not face out on Highway 98, and can easily be missed by the hundreds of thousands who drive down 98 in a given year.
For ease of locating the shop, it is very close to Cracker Barrel restaurant (which is facing highway 98).
Sarah K’s sells carry-out and is known for its gourmet meals. The most popular item on the menu is the crab cakes.
I cannot eat crab due to an allergy but family members tell me the crab cakes sold here are very good. They are a light brown color and easy to heat up in a microwave or an oven. For those looking for a gourmet meal to take back to the family in one of the many condos in the area, this may be the good start to a gourmet meal.
I personally go for the “Death by Chocolate” brownie. I can eat one by myself but it is large enough for two people unless they are chocolate fanatics.
There is always a good selection of gourmet selections to take home often including chicken dishes, pasta, etc. Many of the dishes feature crab.
I recently picked up a slice of lasagna without any crab. It was a large piece, and tasted great. I heated it up in a microwave for about 1 1/4 minutes, poured a glass of wine, and enjoyed the meal.
In addition to the items displayed in a case, there are a number of dishes that are frozen and ready to take out of the store.
The employees here are always very friendly, willing, and eager to help a customer pick out something appropriate for their meal and are more than helpful in sharing information on the dishes that are available.
It is a small place, it is not inexpensive, but the food is excellent. The cost for a gourmet meal is worth the trip.

My family LOVED the crab cakes & smashed potatoes. After a day of sun & fun at the beach, we were too tired to get cleaned up for a restaurant meal. This was the perfect way to end a day! Such great food & easy prep instructions to make a fabulous meal at home! Wish I could take you back to the Midwest with us!

Absolutely delicious food and a terrific value for your money! The jumbo lump crab cakes were amazing, as were the crab-stuffed chicken, chicken tenders, and sides. A perfect option for a wonderful, restaurant-quality meal in our townhouse while avoiding the stress of fighting the crowds in restaurants. I can’t recommend Sarah Al’s Gourmet enough! We’ll definitely be back!

I called ahead for a lunch deal, a jumbo crab cake, and small salad and the pistons were anything but!
I loved every single bite and highly recommend the spicy seafood sauce ✨
I was also impressed with how genuinely king and quick the ladies behind the desk were.
I called in on the Wednesday before thanksgiving, knowing how busy they were preparing, yet the woman still accompanied my Togo lunch order.
ALSO everything was reasonably priced and I cannot complain!
Will absolutely be returning to try more!!

Found this place by mistake and glad we did.
Kind of off to the side in a shopping center. Love crab cakes so had to stop in. Greeted by friendly staff. Very helpful explaining the display case and frozen foods section. Purchased the crab cakes and potato casserole to take home and bake the same evening. Staff explained the proper temp and time.
Dinner was incredible! The crab cakes were awesome! Filled with crab meat and not with filler. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we purchased. We will be returning for more.

Purchased the crab cakes, remoulade, and a key lime pie. Service was not friendly. Food was good though. Not sure I would return. It was very hot in the store and the prices were outrageous. Remoulade was an additional cost. I thought that was weird. I mean, I purchased 6 crab cakes for $10.99 each – throw in a tiny remoulade. I understand they’re offering convenient options but presentation is extremely lackluster and again, the girl was not warm at all. It was awkward trying to engage with her. Warmth goes a long way with me. Maybe I expect it back since I’m nice. Food is a 4 at best. Would love to see an ingredients list on all the items.
