A new smash burger place in South Orange! Yay! In the midst of the onslaught of middle-eastern offerings (Jackie & Sons, OMGyro), a good ‘ole wings, burgers, and shake shop feels at home with the “girl-next-door” simple American experience.
5/5: The milkshake menus. Beyond your typical vanilla and chocolate, they also offer cereal flavors like cinnamon toast crunch and captain crunch. No weird Chik-fil-A formulas here. Just ice cream, cereal, and milk.
4/5: Waffle fries. Good portion. Nice crunch. But they tasted like they were in the fryer a minute too long. They could also use a tad bit less salt.
4/5: Smashburger. Standard fare. Done well, but he burger patties were too large for the bun.
Now unfortunately I’m getting to why I’m giving this establishment a 3/5.
2/5 for atmosphere. The place wasn’t clean. I walked in and the floor mats had what looked to be the remnants of dried leaves. The dessert display looked like it needed a nice tidy up as well. Cleanliness is important for customer impressions and to create a comfortable atmosphere. If the front of house isn’t clean, then its likely the back of house isn’t clean. So then I start worrying about hygiene.

One of the best places by far in this neighborhood! Ever since they have opened it’s been a hit for me and my family. From the food to the ambiance of this establishment everything is 10/10!!! Also they are very clean and provide amazing service. You need to get the chopped cheese bowl it’s to die forrrrr. Definitely recommend!

I’m about 20 minutes away but the food came out exactly how it would if I were there in person!! Highly recommend their smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, and the various types of wings and sauces they have!! Onion rings and fried Oreos are just a pleasant bonus

House Of Wings was definitely an amazing experience!!! The moment we walked into the restaurant we were greeted by Giuly! We actually had a conversation about her name and its spelling which was very interesting. I was having a bad day but her smile and personality changed that very quickly. She remembered the entire order and offered some additional sauces to try with the wings. I really enjoyed the lemon pepper and teriyaki bbq sauce. The milkshake she prepared was THE MOST PERFECT OREO MILKSHAKE EVERRRR!!! You must try it!!!
They offered us a seat and said we didn’t have to stand and that made us feel comfortable. This establishment honestly cares about the customers that come in there. I’m glad I purchased my food from them instead of the Chinese restaurant across the street. Once again GIULY I hope this somehow gets to you! You were amazing and your staff there was also great. Tell everyone keep up the great customer service and never change how happy you are!! Sometimes we need that and it brightens our day! I wish you all the most success!!

Randomly stumbled on this goal mine on the day of their Grand Opening. The customer service is outstanding. They were welcoming and took the time out to give their genuine feedback on the best items to try. My first purchase was the Chopped Cheese bowl. Boy did they not disappoint! If you’re reading this and contemplating whether you should eat here or not. Use this as a sign to just go! It’s beyond worth it. The burgers are great. Not to mention the wings. They close late too! You just truly can’t go wrong

First time ordering from this place. The concept of a chopped cheese and fry bowl is amazing. Staff is nice. The place is too small to awkwardly stand in the middle to wait for your food. My main dissatisfaction is how soaked in oil the fries are and even on the bottom of your bowl has excessive oil.

Raquel was the absolutely sweetest and was quite pleasant to interact with. I came in after a long day looking for dinner and she suggested the cheesesteak melt and it was superior. I ordered boneless wings, fries and tres leches. Everything was tasty, the wait wasn’t too long and I just love this place.
