On top of that, the app did not offer Baja Blast pop at all — only a freeze. Explain to me how you have a freeze but not the actual soda. I didn’t order the freeze because I didn’t want one — I wanted the pop. That makes zero sense.
No sauces.
No chips & cheese.
So the order was wrong, incomplete, and missing basic items.
Order placed at 11:48 PM with an original delivery time of 12:42 AM. It then changed to 12:58, 1:14, and 1:32. It took over an hour just to assign a driver.
I ordered from Saint John, Indiana, despite there being two Taco Bell locations 10 minutes away (Saint John & Cedar Lake). Cedar Lake was open until 2 AM, Saint John until 3 AM — yet my order was somehow fulfilled by Crete, which is 18 minutes away.
The store was changed without my permission, the order was cancelled, then reordered. I ordered for Cedar Lake, yet it came from Crete instead.
Order #951811 wasn’t delivered until after 3 AM. Cold food, wrong meat, missing items, excessive delays, and zero communication.
This wasn’t “late-night Taco Bell problems.” This was complete incompetence.

Some items are a little bit more expensive than other Taco Bells but it’s worth it.
It’s way better than the Crown Point Taco Bell that’s been going downhill for 5 years. I went there last week out of convenience cuz it was close and it was absolutely disgusting every table was dirty the sauces weren’t stocked they were just standing around talking to each other it took 2 minutes to get my drink cup and 12 minutes to get my food there was barely any meat on my taco and my five layer was about an inch thick and mostly beans it was so gross I couldn’t even finish it. I have no clue how they’re still in business.
I passed up the other Taco Bell on 41 and drove out of my way to go to the Cedar Lake Taco Bell because I knew the food would be on point and I’d actually get some meat in my food
If I were an employee there I guess I would hide my sorry can in the back as well.
I hate to leave a bad review, but this place was just that bad. The food? We ordered three boxes with large drinks. Got small drinks. Got one decent taco and one good 5 layer burrito. The rest wasn’t worth stopping for much less the $25 plus we spent.
It felt like I had to argue just to convince her that I did indeed order what I said I ordered. Her tone was incredibly condescending, and from reading other reviews this is clearly a reoccurring problem.
Unless you’re absolutely dying for some taco bell, skip this place, because even then you probably won’t get your food.
I expect nothing from Taco Bell and I’m still disappointed.
