This is the best Mediterranean food that you will find in El Paso. Authentic Lebanese food.

The restaurant is off of Doniphan, in a small corner where finding parking might seem impossible but it’s not. I’m going to cut to the chase, you need to come here!!! Check their hours before coming to make sure they’re open. Every plate that we ordered was AMAZING. I’ll insert pictures. The food is freshly made to order, including desserts. We ordered everything from the creams and sauces to the salads and meats. For dessert, we decided to order the pecan baklava (regular and with a Nutella topping).

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!

Good food. Very nice server. Clean space although they only have a few tables. They have lots of dessert options. It’s a bit difficult to get there. We ended up parking at Riviera and walking over, which wasn’t a huge deal. Overall positive experience.

The hummus and tabouleh is top notch.
The Nutella baklava is pretty sweet.

Wonderful environment, very welcoming staff that are perfectly willing to answer questions and make suggestions. The food was fantastic. Fresh, well presented, and portioned nicely to make a very filling meal. Cannot recommend it enough.

I had a lemonade with mint for a drink. It was very light and watered down. You can hardly taste the lemonade or the mint. The kebab was not flavorful. The rice was bit salty. Salad looked like something you get from Walmart n throw some olive oil on it. The kebbeh was the worse. It was microwaved and definitely old and not from the same day. The crust was soft and it had that frozen flavor in it. I couldn’t eat it. Stuffed zucchini is definitely not from today and tasted microwaved. Why pay 60 dollars for not fresh food ? There is a reason why the restaurant is empty. Anyone who says the food was great definitely never had real arabic food before or been to Dallas or California n had some Arabic food. Don’t take opinion on arabic food from non arabs…honest opinion.

El Layali was awesome! A nice, relaxed and intimate atmosphere, the lady who served us was friendly and speedy.
Food was great, we shared some baba ghanoush, falafel and a baked kibbeh meal – good for two hungry people.
Can’t wait to go back.

Everything my girlfriend and I tried here was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is great. Highly recommend. Restaurant is currently by reservation or take out only due to not being able to find staff so please be mindful of that when planning. I will definitely be back very soon to try the rest of the menu.

My son and I love Mediterranean food and have eaten at almost all of the restaurants on the west side. To start with we ordered the mint lemonade. It was freshly made and had just enough sugar to enhance the flavor. Most restaurants overdo it in sugar. This was just perfect. We ordered the grape leaves appetizer and they were just as good. My son ordered the Shawarma that came with pita bread and rice and I ordered the lamb kabobs. This plate came with lemon and herbs potatoes (to die for) and salad. The lamb was so perfectly seasoned and made right on the spot. Prices are similar to other restaurants but Layla out stands on flavor. There is limited parking right in front of the main door but if you look to the right of the restaurant there is an entrance to the rear parking. We are definitely coming back. Oh! It’s BYOB which a ++.
