It’s hard to drive more than a few miles these days without spotting a taco truck, and nine times out of ten I’ll stop, lol. But there is one hidden gem that stands far above the rest, Taquería Ortega in Alabaster, right off Highway 31 in front of the hospital and the railroad tracks.
As a business owner in the greater Birmingham area I’ve learned what good business looks like inside and out, and this place delivers the full package, top tier food, excellent service, even curbside delivery.
The not so secret ingredient though is HANNIA… She’s an absolute standout, smart, friendly, family oriented, and able to strike up a conversation with anyone while dropping knowledge along the way. Every visit leaves me feeling like I should be thanking them more than they thank me.
Alabaster is lucky to have them and so am I… Do yourself a favor and stop by and taste for yourself.
