Quick service. Friendly service, especially if Lucy serves you. Delicious food!!! Busy at times but worth the wait. Seating is comfortable.

The kim chi was amazing, then they followed that with this beef dish. One of the best Chinese meals I have ever eaten. Seriously of you are in Fargo get to Lucy’s.

This place is great! Only been in it to sit down and eat once, but the staff was kind and it was very quick food. Great service, great food. I really want to say how awesome their delivery is, though. 95% of the time I eat her it is through delivery. There is a jimmy johns literally 6 blocks from my apartment that ‘wont make the trip’ to me, but this restaurant makes it almost 3 miles to my place. Best Chinese food in Fargo, without a doubt. i suggest this place to anyone who tells me they like this type of food! Place is amazing; if you haven’t already, definitely give it a try!

We got there about 6:30 on a Wednesday and was seated immediately. For those of you who haven’t been there, you grab a menu and pay when you can. We sat first then ordered at the front. We ordered a few combo meals and some beef, shrimp and pork grandma noodles. I also had a bowl of hot and sour soup. All of the dishes came out within literally minutes, both of us literally commented “wow” on the speed. The hot and sour soup was OK. You could tell they use a corn starch base to thicken it. The flavor was good though because they added a good veggie combination. The grandma noodles were to die for, they were my favorite dish. They have an interesting flavor, a little spicy but not overbearing. My gf had general tso chicken and it was very good. I had a shrimp dish with broccoli, carrots and onions. They didn’t put too many onions in like many places do. I didn’t particularly enjoy the sauce it was cooked in – was a bit too sweet. The vegetables were all fresh and very good. This is a highly rated local place to eat for a reason – will definitely eat here again.

I completely disagree with the one star review. I’m married into a Chinese family and have been eating in great Chinese restaurants and enjoying Chinese home cooking for many years. Lucy’s may not be the absolute best I’ve ever had, but it is excellent, authentic, and far and away the best in Fargo. Too bad our friend from California found it necessary to insult one of my favorite restaurants and the good people of Fargo.

Never been here and decided give it a try. The lady gave me a menu and said go pick a seat. After sitting for five mins she finally said come up to order n pay. I ordered shrimp lo main. 5 mins later… The noodles were dry. Food ice cold. My shrimp was cold and not fresh. My rice was luke warm with cold peas. The only thing good was my egg roll. Do dissatisfied for paying over $9.
I paid for all you can eat buffets with better taste n quality. Not recommend at all

Best Chinese in Fargo. Fresh food FAST. I know it’s fresh because if you’re sitting at the right table, you can watch them bring the fresh food into the kitchen. Peking Chicken is AMAZING, with an actual amount of heat to it! Try their egg-rolls. Best in F/M area.

This experience was horrible. There was a huge lack of hospitality. Messed up two out of the three orders. Ordered chicken and got beef. The food was not up to our liking. Hardly any flavor. The rice was hard as if it hadn’t been cooked. The price of their food was not worth it.

Lucy’s is what you expect from a Chinese takeout place: good noodles and sauce, sub-par meat. I get takeout here often and have had a pretty similar experience every time. If you’re looking for standard American-Chinese rice dishes with a side of cream cheese wontons, check this place out.

Food is good, but last time, and this time, when I ordered, the lady didn’t give me a total. Just a “around 20-30 dollars” and I’ve tried to tip the driver but I didn’t see a raise in my total last time when I gave a $10 tip when I looked at the charge to my card. I’ll check because again, I told her “give the driver a $10 tip from my order” and she said a quick “ok ok” and hung up.
I’m gonna just start using cash.
