We ordered the appetizer, pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza & a kids cheese pizza.
The bread was very delicious & from what the owner mentioned, it’s a non gmo specialty grain of wheat. The bread wasn’t heavy or felt like it expands after eating.
The basil was fresh & the margarita pizza reminded me of my trip to Italy.
My son enjoyed his pie, its was small & cut in manageable slices. He even had a pepperoni slice (he is particular to pepperoni)
The sauce had flavor of freshness & homemade. The brick oven cooking left the pepperonis cooked & not dry or over done.
The dipping sauces were also very tasty. The marinara was good & the ranch was homemade, the dill &/or tyme that was used took it up a notch that store bought won’t provide. The chipotle cherry however, has a lil kick in the beginning. It opened up a memory for me & a smile every time i tasted it.
It is a smokey flavor that reminded me of my rodeo days.
We dined outside & even though it was in the low 50s, they have plenty of heat towers to keep us warm. The patios had a clear tarp wrapped around & that kept the wind out & other tables conversations.
The atmosphere had a Sante Fe or Scottsdale feel. We had plenty of room for our son to walk around & play with his trucks as we waited for our meal to arrive.
They don’t have fountain drinks, but they do have a list of specialty drinks & mocktails that i will definitely try on my visit.
There is one pizza place that we tried, but they felt short on taste. This place (305 fire pizza) will be one we will recommend to others for sure.
And then the service is so good, with very involved and friendly owners and nice staff.
The atmosphere of the place is so sweet. The outside seating is heated and warm enough for shorts in the winter, but inside has a couple of different spaces too with a relaxed vibe and local, rotating artwork on the walls.
I have enjoyed pizza all over the world. I like it so much that I even built my own Ugly Drum Pizza Oven a number of years ago. Imagine my surprise to find probably one of my all time favorite pizzas in….Gallup, New Mexico? Not Italy? Not New York? Yep here.
Their crust is incredible, it’s light and packing flavor, and has a delightful crunch while still being soft with a perfect chew and mouth feel…which you can only get with wood fired pizza! And that Salad was also amazing! You can tell they take great care in selecting their ingredients, and their food offerings are birthed from creativity and passion for their business and serving their customers.
You see this passion and dedication reflected in their staff as well, everyone was kind, friendly, attentive, and enjoying their work together.
The establishment itself had a super fun atmosphere. Again it reminded me of a family restaurant in small town Italy, from the Koi pond to the trellised Grape Vines they are nurturing, it felt warm and welcoming. Alive and vibrant! Just like their food.
My 3 year old and I had fun watching the pizza assembly line as the staff prepared each pizza with care.
For pizzas we had cheese, margarita, sausage, and Omakase. I would say my favorite was the margarita as it really allowed the star of the show, the crust, to shine. Not to say that the other pizzas were in any way lacking, the Omakase was fantastic! Complex without being showy and overly complicated. My kids from age 3 to 16 years old all loved the pizzas too. My teens wouldn’t stop raving about how good the pizzas were.
On our way out we had the chance to chat with the owners as they shared how they make the pizzas. You can tell this is something they love doing! Again that passion for excellence and a depth of knowledge was riveting and exciting to listen to!
Give this place a try! You will not be disappointed!!
It took us all winter – but we finally stopped in at 305 Fire here in Gallup, and let me say that without any shade towards our locality, we felt transported to San Francisco, Miami, or perhaps even some hidden away gem in Palermo.
From the unassuming adobe facade right off 2nd street, to the encahnting Koi pond with real lily pads, and the unforgettable first bite into a crust so light, that it can reasonably be described as “delicious air” – we were simultaneously wowed and humbled by our first dining experience at 305 Fire.
Like seriously, somebody went to Pizza school.
My girlfriend and I more than appreciate the goopiest, cheesiest, drippy slice of NY or deep dish whenever we can find it out of town, but we’re undoubtedly committed to coming back often – especially to soothe our big box store stresses.
This Pizza made us think about life.
Shoutout to Duvi! She was pleastant, knowledgeable, and had some jokes.
Question: Does “305” represent the oven temp, or an area code?
❤️
There are both cozy, indoor and outside patio seating. The place is so charmingly set up and has a welcoming feel.
Of the 2 salads they have available, I opted for the Bacon Ranch. While talking with the Chef, I learned that everything is sourced as local as possible and everything is also made from scratch. And its obvious from your first bite! It was AMAZING! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING.
I snapped a pic of the pizza he was taking to a table on the patio when he delivered my order to me!
These guys really know the worth of their patrons and do all they can to make you feel valued.
Placing like this that uplift and cast a positive light on the community should be welcomed and utilized.
Oh…and Chuck also showed me a clip of LIVE music they offer on the patio on certain nights. They plan on a more permanent music schedule once more talent in booked.
I definately recommend this spot! Best wishes to you all and keep up the awesome job!
Ranch is 10/10
And the atmosphere is great
