Every time I come here, the staff is super friendly and the service is always great. They make sure my crabs are steamed just right (never overcooked) and they always come out quick and fresh. I’ve ordered both in person and over the phone, and the experience is always smooth. I also appreciate that they always have newspaper ready so I don’t mess up my table at home. This spot is definitely a local favorite! I’ve been here several times and will keep coming back whenever I’m craving some perfectly steamed crabs.

I had a great experience ordering steamed crabs from CK Seafood. I went to pick up the Crabs and they came out on time. This was the only place that had Large crabs. The cashier was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the taste of these Crabs.

I don’t even know where to start. The food came out looking like it had been forgotten in the fryer during a fire drill. Completely burnt. Not “well done.” Not “extra crispy.” Burnt. Blackened, dry, and tasting like straight garbage.
It honestly felt like no one even tried. No presentation, no care, no basic quality check before sending it out. If someone had taken two seconds to look at the plate, there’s no way they would’ve thought this was okay to serve.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but this was disappointing on every level. A 1% effort would’ve been an improvement. If I could leave no stars I would.

I was skeptical trying this place out due to the mixed reviews. But I really had a taste for crabs and didn’t want to drive far from my home in Burtonsville. When I arrived it was completely empty which made me even more nervous. The guy that greeted me was enthusiastic and friendly. He sold me a dozen male regular for $35 which isn’t a bad deal. When I got the crabs they smelled so good. And when I got home the taste matched. They were so fresh and meaty

I have gotten crabs here for my daughter’s birthday every year for the past 5-6 years and have always been pleased. This time the crabs were worse than disappointing. They looked and tasted like they had been sitting around already cooked and then were reheated. It is why I order ahead so I can have freshly steamed crabs.

We ordered a half a bushel of large crabs, which we were told on the phone were $200. Very upset as when we got there we were charged $270. If we didn’t drive 30 minutes to pick these up we would have left empty handed. Hoping they gave us good crabs since we paid an extra $70 more than expected! Review is based off poor service.

Extremely disappointed！ I’m used to get large crab every week on summer. There were always nice size and heavy. BUT I AM SO DISAPPOINTED TODAY! Many of crabs have no meat at all, some are not even cooked. I didn’t see Micheal who is the owner of this place. The guy who help me out he has hard time understand the English. I think the management has been changed. NEVER COME BACK

Some the best prices I’ve seen. Half of places in Rockville and Gaithersburg. Crabs are fresh and they have Jumbos much of the time. The store is nothing fancy, but it’s clean and the owner is pleasant enough. Totally worth the 20 minutes drive every time. I’ve been coming here for 6 or 7 years now and I’ve never regretted it. *** still great.. They have boil bags now, and have expanded their selection. Thank you, guys!!!
