Giving this a 4 instead of a 5 because it recently opened and after talking to the waitress, I believe this is going to become a great hotspot for dinner and drinks. All the tables, chairs, and bar area looked brand new. The waitress said they had only been open a short while, so this place will definitely be on my short list for dinner and drinks. The interior is exposed brick which looks amazing and adds to the charm of the tavern. Bathrooms were clean. Wait staff was very pleasant. There are a couple 70in TVs throughout the bar. I had a giant pretzel which was great, served with cheese and Dijon mustard. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Such a fun local spot! The atmosphere is super unique and makes the whole place feel lively and welcoming. The live music adds the perfect vibe, and the food was great too. It’s the kind of place you can relax, enjoy good music, and have a really good meal. We’ll definitely be back!

4/5 Walled Lake Tavern is right across from the water with indoor and outdoor dining options. When we stopped in, we ended up getting seated at the bar while the Lions were playing. Food was simple and got the job done. I also give the bartender a lot of credit considering she managed the entire place while it was busy. The downside is it took forever to get the bill for this reason.

Hope it gets better in the future because it’s a cool location across from the lake and a lovely patio & building design. I would hate to see it go under but it needs more. A better menu and better draft beer choices. They need to step it up to get more folks to come. Here’s what it looked like on a Sunday afternoon in June between 6-7pm when 2 restaurants right down the street were overflowing with people. We watched many folks walk right past this place and go across the street like it wasn’t even there. We stopped at the other restaurant also and couldn’t even get a seat on the patio. We had great service though. Loved sitting on the patio. We had it all to ourselves most of the time. We’ll most likely try it out in a couple of months to see if they care to make it more interesting. If not, we probably won’t be back for a third time.

Great atmosphere! Food is just as great! Service was impeccable! Burgers and tater tots are the best ever! Love the lake view! Friendly staff! We celebrated a birthday and brought our cake. The staff was very accommodating. Thank you will be back this summer. Love that they have outdoor seating.

I was really optimistic about this place when it opened and I love their sliders, but I am never coming back often. Last two times I was here the bartender was arguing with the cook and telling customers he didn’t want to cook. On a Friday night at 8pm the place is dead and the music is just way too loud. The service is very slow and all of the staff are always complaining within earshot of customers. I have not seen a manager or the owners in my last visits here and it is obvious one is needed on site. The menu is very limited and never expanded. If you come in or out the back door there is a strong mold smell

Waitress held onto my drink straw and used her finger to push it into my glass, chili tasted good but was very cold, obviously not made fresh. Buffalo chicken slider was a frozen patty with red hot sauce on it. They apparently don’t know an IPA from a stout. My mixed drink was very good. Decor is nice but a pretty small place with only 3 table tops, the rest are high tops.

We like that there is a new bar nearby however we noticed that on a Friday night it was pretty much empty. We witnessed multiple people walking in, looking at the menu, and then leaving because it didn’t haven’t much of a variety. I would hate to see it go under because the place is welcoming and has good decorations. Just needs more variety of a menu and maybe live music to get people into the door? Just some food for thought!

Just moved to Wixom, excited to watch the football game and Wiings game at Walled Lake Tavern. I sat at the bar for 35 minutes without being acknowledged by the staff. Although the staff appeared unfriendly and stand-off-ish. I left without any service. Never will go back. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had.
