The bad reviews for pupusas are about a year old, and I saw a good review from recently. So I thought maybe they have improved, so let me give them a try. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the whole beans inside the pupusas. They gave me a salsa made of some type of peppers flavored with cumin(which I hate), not even close to the salsa for pupusas. This was my first time ordering pupusas from them, unfortunately I’m still on the hunt for some decent pupusas in SCV.

I got pupusas… Maybe my fault for not getting them at a Salvadorian restaurant but these smelled bad and then tasted bad and was burnt on the outside. It was way overpriced almost $6 for two. How can beans taste bad ? Idk but these were gross I had to trash it. Never tried anything else. The place smelled like paint.

Nany’s Chile Relleno’s cooked up that afternoon. Still number #1 in Santa Clarita in my books, along with some house home-made refried beans. Nice lite harted meal.

Food was deliciously authentic.
Service took an extra 20 minutes than expected. I did not seem to be the only one experiencing this. It has occurred twice. Looks like they are still working on the decor side of things. I still order often – I just make sure to add extra time to my actual pick up.

Overcharged for bad food. Do not come here.
After 9.5% taxes, my food should have cost just under $18 according to their menu. I was charged $20 even but didn’t complain because I heard the food is good. I heard wrong.
My food came out suspiciously quickly. 3 chicken enchiladas with rice. The chicken is dry and tastes old/frozen. I lost my appetite after a few bites. The salsa on the side is actually delicious, but pointless without a good main dish.

For the price, the portions are so small. I’m a slim guy and I ate every rice kernal. Couldn’t wait to go have a burger.

I tried the supreme burrito with shrimp and I thought it was gooood and fresh! I like how their was not too much sodium because some burritos have too much salt. It was filling and everything tasted fresh. The customer service was quick and friendly. I enjoyed it and would recommend to family and friends. 🙂 -Fahimah A.

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here, however if Memory serves, he makes some pretty good food. I’ll update this next week after I enjoy a meal there, and I’m sure he’ll get the much deserved 5 Stars I gave him tonight. Can’t wait to get my grub on some tacos… or maybe a burrito… wait, I was craving some chili colorado earlier. We shall see. Pics to come!
