What an incredible surprise to find this restaurant while we were traveling! With only 2 Google reviews we were really uncertain but thought we would check it out. A woman was holding her carryout when I was going in to check it out so I asked her if it was good. Her face lit.up and she said it was excellent and we would not be disappointed!
Very large venue with unbelievable views and pleasant people. They have a lot of fun things going on too!
We ordered a tasty filet with a shrimp skewer. The salad was good (and the oil and vinegar bottles unusually cool). We also had mashed potatoes and green beans. We were very pleased with our meal. And the view! Did I mention the view?!! The service was excellent.

I am going to put this in my saved places to visit while traveling! You will appreciate a good meal with fresh food near I57. It’s a few minutes off the road but worth it! Food came out quickly too!

We go to Stonewater often and are so thankful to have it on our beautiful lake. Our server, Jamie, is like family to us and she is absolutely amazing every single time we go there. Tonight we had a perfectly seared ribeye, moist baked potato with salted skin, and the salad was very fresh. Excellent meal, and excellent service!

What I expected was a Valentines dinner for two as advertised, not a crowded cafeteria with a tiny table without elbow room, The wait staff was friendly cordial efficient, The cook staff, whoever they may be definitely needs retraining, and how to cook,lessons food was both overcook and not hot. Barely warm, baked potato butter, barely melted from a warm potato overall steak was cold and dry. Ask for medium and got medium well done. I asked for a different table right from the and I was told NO, with an eye roll and a shrug of a shoulder, no offer of management to de-escalate the issue, this destroyed Valentines for dinner 2 people as we cannot sit at this little tiny table barely enough room for food and menus no candle some kind of Valentines dinner !
I did not cause a fuss. I did not want to destroy other people’s meal, who was there with time out with their families unlike Stonewater who’s is just worried about making an extra dollar on extra table set for the money ! Shame on Stonewater !
