Extremely rude owner, terrible customer service.

I visited this Subway today with my family. Two employees prepared the food, but when it came time to pay, the man at the counter (who appeared to be the owner, named Singh) was extremely rude.

• He did not greet me and spoke in a disrespectful tone when asking about the kids’ meal drink.

• When I asked what comes with the kids’ meal besides the drink, he ignored me and just grabbed applesauce.

• I explained that my son doesn’t eat applesauce and asked if we could substitute it with a cookie or chips, even offering to pay extra. He refused and said “nothing is free, it’s extra charge,” in a very dismissive way.

• When I told him his customer service was unacceptable, he repeatedly said “I don’t care” and even told me I could complain to anyone, including the President. He added that his Subway “does not run on my income.” This is an outrageous thing to say to a customer.

• He also made irrelevant comments about living in America his whole life, which made no sense in the context.

• After we sat down to eat, he continued to stare at us and laughed loudly as we left.

My 5‑year‑old son witnessed all of this and kept asking why the man was so rude. It was very upsetting. The two female employees looked intimidated and afraid to speak up, which made me feel bad for them.

Prices at this location are also higher than other Subways. After reading other reviews, I see this behavior is a pattern. This owner clearly does not understand customer service and should not be running a business.

This behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and hostile. No customer should be treated this way.

I will not return to this Subway, and I strongly urge Subway corporate to review this franchise. A business owner who openly says he doesn’t care about customers should not be running a store.

I used a coupon online and I suppose they don’t usually accept coupons at that location so they decided to smash up my sandwich out of spite and gabe my fiancee a hard time during pickup. Not sure why it’s my fault their own website allowed me to use a coupon at that location or why I deserved a smashed sandwich.

TERRIBLE.
Guys, you should trust the reviews and go somewhere else.
Two slices of meat and they said they weighted it??? Seriously? Asked if they can show me the scale, they couldn’t.
I usually only write good reviews, but this one truly was terrible experience.

I ordered a footlong and ate half of it before realizing that the bell peppers were VERY slimy, indicating that they had gone bad. When I informed the person who was cleaning up for the night, she didn’t seem worried about throwing them out. I asked for a refund, and was offered another 6 inch. I declined, feeling ill at the thought. I will absolutely not be back, likely to any Subway at this point.

Trash location. Seriously go somewhere else.
If I could give negative stars I would. TERRIBLE service. TERRIBLE people. They ignore you when they mess up your order and refuse refunds and also block your calls. I paid an additional $5 for double protein to receive 4 slices of meat on my entire footlong sandwich. Refused to fix it or add more. Hang I up on me when I call and tell me to online for a refund when online told me I have to go thru the location itself. I will NEVER be ordering from this terrible location ever again.

I had a really bad experience at this Subway location. The older man working there had very poor customer service. He was rude, did not greet customers properly, and seemed irritated when taking orders. On top of that, he did not look clean at all, which made me very uncomfortable about ordering food. This is not what I expect from Subway. Management needs to address this immediately because the cleanliness and service were unacceptable……..

The worst service. They don’t understand what you are saying. They just give you what ever they want. They had eggs right in front of me. When asked, they said they won’t serve it now. For $15 sandwich, they barely added any veggies. Am never going back there.

Ordered multiple things. Ordered a chop salad with multiple toppings- literally all the toppings! Got salad which Looked awful. Brown lettuce, about 5-6 toppings, 3 slices of meat and nothing chopped. Literally just at the bottom of the bowel. No olive oil, vinegar , salt and pepper were on the salad when they were ordered. Most pathetic salad ever. I expected better. Ordered two sandwiches, one tuna and the other steak and cheese!! Got no tune and no streak!! Like who makes a mistake like that! I asked for toasted bread and I got nothing that I asked for! I paid for almost 30 dollars of food and didn’t get what I ordered. I would have gone back but I placed order on line and delivered to the hospital I work at!!

MY WORST SUBWAY EXPERIENCE. the old worker did not show up for like 5 minutes so we were just standing and waiting. when he came he just stood there and went back for another minute. i don’t think he understood us at least one bit, the miscommunication was there throughout our whole conversation. when he wanted to say something he was SO QUIET we had to ask to repeat for three times. when we asked for and egg in our sandwich he said something like “can’t. separate. no.” (there was a plenty of eggs, we saw it with our own eyes) but we were so tired of trying to make this order we just went with it. also it was clear that if we wanted to ask why couldn’t we get an egg he wouldn’t understand or wouldn’t tell us why loud enough so we dumped this idea. we got 2 6 inch sandwiches with a few ingredients and it was $16. we forgot to take our receipt and also wanted to end this communication ASAP, so we couldn’t really see why it was so expensive but that felt VERY wrong. we mostly take the same thing every time and usually it’s around $10.
one thing i forgot to mention is that he was… greedy??? i don’t know… but i’ve never had so little of EVERYTHING in my sandwich. it feels almost half empty. can’t even feel the guacamole in there. (it is there)
not that important but our sandwiches were rolled AWFULLY. (pic one)
and our napkins were so wrinkled it looked like it was already used by someone. (pic two)

overall i hated this experience and the only thing i wanted to do is to throw this f-ing sandwich into this old man’s face.

This store will scam you. Stay away!
The portion of food was not even half of what was described — very misleading.

If they refuse to refund you and you paid with a credit or debit card, you can initiate a dispute with your bank.

We should help each other and not let this shady business scam more customers. If you’ve been scammed by them before, file a complaint to Washington State Attorney General.
