Eve is a ABSOLUTELY incredible cook! Everything is made to order and fresh! She worked with my tomato allergy expertly and carefully. Every ounce of love culture and flavor is put into the food! I have been to Michelin restaurants that don’t know flavor as well as she does. She speaks very good English and listens to what your asking for very well and gives you good food that makes your soul sing, she also explains platters very well for those adventurous at heart but a lil shy. 100/10 Don’t miss out on some of the best food indie has to offer!

This is a solid Ethiopian spot on the west side of Indianapolis. Inside decor is vibrant and creative. It is obviously influenced by the European and Islamic culture. The service was fast and friendly. The vegetarian platter I have was delicious. The food was sold a little cooler than I’m used to, when I told the waitress she brought me out more that was hotter. the injeera was also cool, I’m used to it being kind of warm. I don’t fault them for that, just information for anybody reading. They also have smoothies available. The highlight of the visit was definitely on the food. It’s very well seasoned and veggie platter has excellent variety.

Absolutely delicious food! We wanted to try a variety of things, so the owner (who is the sweetest lady ever) recommended we try the awet combo. We got a double portion, and could barely finish it all. Left the restaurant very happy with full bellies.
We also tried the telba drink, which is made from roasted flax seeds. Very different from anything I’ve had before, and I’d definitely get it again!

Wonderful place and such authentic food. I’ve been eating Ethiopian food for 10 years now and this is one of my favorite places. The lady that served me is kind and wonderful! Cozy atmosphere and I will definitely be back. I felt right at home : )

First time trying Ethiopian food, and it won’t be the last. The lady who served us was super kind, and gave great recommendations, definitely could tell it was made fresh to order and with love. Please give it a try and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

New place started by previous owner of Major restaurant that uses to be on Mickley Ave.
Taste, quality, quantity and price were all perfect.
Menu was very small and different from Major, but the lady running the restaurant was more than happy to make something off the menu if it was something you remember eating at Major previously.
Place is much well lit compared to the dimly lit Major restaurant.
Place is much different but still feel the same, definitely recommended.

We have eaten at many Ethiopian restaurants in the USA and this is the best! Authentic flavors and spices – not Americanized. Friendly service.
