The owner checked in multiple times during our visit and wanted our honest opinion and I didn’t feel comfortable giving this feedback in person. The seating was comfortable, and with no other customers present, our food arrived quickly.

However, most of the BBQ items were unavailable. Although we were told the Chicken Tikka was available, it was not prepared as BBQ, which suggests it may not have been available either. The Chicken Biryani was acceptable, but the chicken itself did not seem fully cooked. The Peshawari karhai, unfortunately, did not meet expectations in terms of flavor or quality.

Overall, while the service was attentive and the environment comfortable, the food availability and execution need improvement for a better dining experience.

We ordered a mix of kabobs, karahi, nihari and biryani and everything was full of flavor and came out piping hot. The chicken tikka was juicy and well-spiced, the karahi had a great kick without being too oily, and the chicken biryani was fragrant and satisfying. Naans were fresh and soft, perfect for scooping up the gravy. The kebabs were also a nice touch. Portions were generous and service was quick and polite. Definitely a solid spot for Pakistani comfort food, would come back! Definitely one of the better Pakistani food options in OC

All the items I ordered were highly spicy and the taste was not as expected as suggested by frnds and family. I ordered a good amt of food for $100 but neither was salad served with the gravies nor was Raita served with the Biryani. The biriyani meat was too large pieces and missed flavour.

Updated Review (after owner’s response):
Yes, Biryani, and Nihari were not ordered yesterday but I also visited this restaurant on (or around) Nov 10th, 2025 (see the cc receipt uploaded in the photos. I urge the owner the refute this). On previous visit I ordered, chicken karahi, nihari, biryani, gola kabab, masala fries and 2 cup of tea. The food quality sucked that day too except for chicken karahi (which I graciously mentioned in my original review). I wanted to give this restaurant another chance but since the owner kind of implied that I am not being truthful, the fact is the owner is being not truthful himself. The complaint was made while I was in the restaurant and his reply was “جیسا گوشت پیچھے سے آتا ہے ہم ووہی استمعال کرتے ہیں ” which contradicts his claim they always use quality ingredients. Bottom line is, they don’t care what ingredients they use.
And yes, we ate whatever we could. We were not looking for a free meal nor for any discounts.

Even during my last visit the elderly gentleman (probably the other owner) asked for the quality of food and I told him politely that it was not up to the standard. The service is slow, food was put on table without plates, napkins and silverware. In any event, I wish this place good luck. I just won’t not be visiting again!!

p.s. the mutton pulao that was purchased to-go also taste horrible.

The food quality is below average. If you must go to this place stick with chicken karahi only Their mutton is poor quality and they don’t even bother to clean the meat. Half of the mutton karahi was inedible due to excessive fatty pieces that were cooked along with meat. Nehari and biryani was another disappointment.
There are far better desi food places in OC than this joint.

This might be my favorite restaurant in California. Wife and I went to the brunch buffet and I’m astonished at the variety and quality of items they had for only $25 per person. Nihari, biryani, karahi, haleem all tasted like homemade. They had live bbq outside on the charcoal grill. Absolutely phenomenal. The tandoori chicken, Malai boti, seekh kabob were all smacking. Of course needed the halwa puri which was exceptional especially since the puris were made to order. Finished it off with some delicious kheer for dessert. My biggest regret is not living in SoCal so I could visit this joint every week. I would drive down from the bay just for this.

We ordered Nihari, Mutton Karahi, Chicken tikka masala, Puri, Chana masala, and Naan. The food was delicious. Our favorite was mutton Karahi and Nihari out of all of them. The portions for the food is good enough for 3 people to eat from it and surprisingly the puri size was pretty big too! We will definitely come back to it, love knowing there is an authentic Pakistani food close by

One of the most authentic (if not the most) Pakistani restaurants you will find in SoCal! Must try, and everything was amazing.
