Stopped here for a quick breakfast on the way to Monroe LA. The omelets are delicious!!! Some of the best we have ever had. If you want a good breakfast in the Pineville LA area definitely stop here!!

Breakfast sandwich was great. I love my bacon very crispy so there was nothing to dislike about this sandwich. I was a bit nervous about visiting because the first time (yrs ago) I felt the sandwich was way too big and with no storage options I had to throw most of it away. Worst experience of my life. Very rude. Overtalk you during conversation. Unprofessional. Made an online order to be picked up on Saturday morning. Received a call 30 minutes before they closed on Friday (the day before my order is to be picked up). I was told they would be closed on Saturday and emails were sent out. I had not received a call or an email. (I double checked). I was then asked are you gonna be able to come pick it up within the next 30 minutes or not? I stated no due to short notice. The girl then said, “Well I’ll just write your number and name down for my boss”. I said well can I just receive a refund because I needed my order for a specific date. She then stated well I don’t know how to do an online refund so it may be a few days. So I’m stuck with no product or refund so I requested that whoever is knowledgeable about the refund process could call me instead of back and forth messages being relayed by the rude lady on the phone. Cindy contacted me and stated that she would in fact arrive to the location on Saturday morning at the scheduled time so I could receive my order. I had someone there early in the morning waiting on her to arrive and provide my order. It was picked up and Cindy had distasteful things to say while walking off from the vehicle. When I got off of work I had rude and unprofessional text messages on my phone from Cindy. In a following message she stated that we received the wrong order and she left the correct item outside on the ground like im some type of animal for me to pick up. I then gave her a call, while requesting a refund due to the issues she proceeded to hang up on me and blocked my phone number. I will never support this sad excuse for a business ever again.

This place is very clean and simple. It’s a good place to just indulge in over the top sweetness. But in addition to the pros there are cons as well
• Expense ★☆☆☆☆
In my opinion this place is over-priced. I spent about $15 on just one biscuit sandwhich and a medium latte. I know Coffee is getting expensive these days in Cafes but for a simple drink and decent sandwich I did not like having to pay this much for it. Everything here is pricey as well, not just what I ordered. It’s a good place for indulging in once in awhile, but I won’t be coming here regularly.
• Food ★★★★☆
Very sweet treats. I tried the Cinnamon rolls, Bacon Egg Cheese Biscuit, and Iced Vanilla Latte. All were good. The vreading for the biscuit is very fluffy and soft. Cinnamon Rolls are very sweet and fluffy. Latte is, well, a Latte.
• Service ★★★★☆
Fast and ready to help. Although very busy the cashiers were nice and helpful. Plenty of smiles as well.
• Interior ★★★☆☆
A very plain and simple design. I like a clean look but it did feel quite empty. Maybe some art hung up would help.
Bathrooms are clean as a whistle. Singles, but it works for a small dining area. I’d say there were about 16 seats in total for the dining area. A bit cramped but I suspect as business lessens from Opening it’ll be perfect.

I hear the king cake is to die for so I need to try it. I stopped here for lunch on Feb. 2nd, and it was SUCH a fun experience. If you need a coffee shop, type spot for a break or a meeting with someone, THIS is a great place for that. I will say, I felt like it echoed a little, but that just may be because my personality is so big, it doesn’t always agree with tight spaces, and I felt I was too loud. I was NEVER shushed or made to feel that way, but it was something I kept finding myself thinking…”like oh no I think I echoed a little.”
They brought my food to the table which I wasn’t expecting because we gave a name at the register, so that was a nice surprise! The philly sandwich was delicious but just a little dry, BUT I think you can alter the sandwiches. So, next time I’m going to ask for a sauce of sorts, because that was ALL i think I needed. The sandwhich was flavor PACKED but, I needed a drink refill about halfway through it. They have croissants that are so flakey and light, and the produce they use tasted SUPER fresh!
They had two soups to choose from but the broccoli and cheddar was so creamy and delicious, that I don’t know if I’ll even get to the others! It’s definitely going to be a repeat order. It also came in a friends style coffee mug (ya know, super huge) which I thought was ADORABLE. It wasn’t friends themed or anything like that, just minimal and SUCH a nice touch.
I would’ve liked to have picked my own chips but honestly sea salt goes nicely with everything, and if I feel a choosy kinda vibe there’s always subway, buuuut the subway sandwiches just don’t compare to sweet joy’s sandwiches.
The only thing left to try here, is the actual sweets. I can only imagine they will be just as delicious as they are beautiful because their display case was LOVELY….and oh so tempting.

I have been going here almost as long as they have been opened. I really do love this place. I enjoy the coffee and the rocky road bars the most. The service is always polite and pleasant. I have recently stopped about once a week to pick up a plate lunch. I have enjoyed it each time. Today, while it was delicious, the meat was a bit skimpy. I would like to see the servings be consistent.

I ordered the wedding cake cream cheese king cake and oh. My. Goodness. Yall!! This was, quite possibly, the absolute best king cake I have ever tasted- and I’ve had Meche’s king cakes. I’m telling you- amazing. About to order another one, and torn between all the flavors!
Now- on to service and atmosphere. I ordered online, picked it up two days later. It was ready at the requested time, the staff was friendly and funny. We shared a few laughs as I paid for my cookies with all 1 dollar bills. (had to buy something else when I went in to get the king cake ♀️)

The atmosphere I would put 100 out of 100 because when I walked in they was playing “I know a name his name is Jesus” It’s not often i get tears of joy before breakfast. I didn’t want to say this in a public review but I had to. If you know Jesus you would know what I mean.
