I usually really enjoy Flower Child because the food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. That’s actually why I decided to dine in today instead of taking it to go.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing this time. There were a significant number of flies inside the restaurant, and they kept landing in and around my food while I was trying to eat. I even switched seats thinking it was just my area, but the problem followed me. They appeared to be fruit flies, which made me concerned about possible sanitation or cleanliness issues.
I still think the food itself is great, but the environment made it hard to enjoy the meal. I hope management addresses this because it definitely impacted the overall dining experience.

Flower child is a great place for vegetarians or just somebody looking for a healthy meal. I got the steak and corn and quinoa. The steak was a little more well done than I would have liked, but it was still good. The corn and quinoa was amazing and one of the reasons I love flower child. It is very cutely decorated and is a great place to have a long talk with some friends or just chill and get some work done!

Placed an order in the app for a drive-up order & called once we got to the pickup spots. The girl who answered the phone said she would bring our food out to us in 2 mins. 15 minutes later, my husband walked inside to the walk-in order shelf and she had put our food there instead; the restaurant was also nearly empty. Serving size was disappointing, especially for the price. Other Flower Child locations have been a lot better.

The food here is wonderful. Great, yummy, healthy choices. Something hard to find at other restaurants. Howerever, the music they play makes it not an enjoyable experience. It’s too loud and thumpy. The other night I’m trying to enjoy dinner and have a conversation with my wife but all we here is “thump thump thump thump”. Dinner music should be relaxing. This is not a night club, people aren’t looking to dance here. Please turn it down and let people speak to one another.

Food was tasty and there was a large selection of vegetarian dishes. It’s counter service which is quick but not too formal. It was more expensive than I anticipated, but the dishes weren’t high end to justify the price. I think it was more about location.

The food was good, just small portions for the amount you’ll spend. They said the protein options are 3oz servings, and while the flavors were unique and complimentary, I expected more meat to come with my plate. Overall if you’re fine spending 30 bucks for a kids and adult meal, with small portions, it’s worth it. The service was great and atmosphere clean and cool.

The food is delicious, ambience is wonderful, the menu is a bit confusing, I thought I was getting a chop type salad when I ordered chicken, but then it came out as just chicken, and two sides. That being said, gluten free Mac and cheese was delicious, as well as the sweet potato fries. Their ranch is heavenly. Whatever you order, smother it in their ranch.

This was a great recommendation from a friend for my visit to Phoenix. Though it is counter service for ordering the food tastes far better than other “counter service” type restaurants. I had the Mother Earth Bowl and added salmon. It was excellent! The staff was helpful, food served promptly, and the environment was nice.
