First time here. Plenty of parking outside. A lot of options. There is a very sweet and handsome gentleman who will show you what all they have including pastries, sandwiches, gelatos etc. Everything looks soo good! I ordered some mini pastries to try, hazelnut gelato which was very rich creamy and had hazelnut aroma. Quick service!

First time here. The place looked clean and had a nice atmosphere. However, I was not impressed with the pastry I purchased. The mini cannoli didn’t have the cream all the way through so it was empty in the middle. (Taste was good) and the sfogliatella was flanks but I could’ve broke a tooth on the very hard edges. Then it had a huge air pocket that I’ve never had in other bakeries. The taste was also not my favorite.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Hands down the BEST gelato I’ve ever had. I also tried the L’estate sandwich and it was chef’s kiss. I got the sandwich on focaccia bread and the bread itself was delectable! The customer service was incredible. They are very welcoming, attentive, and transparent. I will be a frequent customer at this place for sure. Well done my friends

Absolutely Outstanding – A True Taste of Sicily!

Bella Sicilia Bakery and Deli is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked bread and authentic Sicilian specialties. Every product here tastes like it was made with love and tradition from the perfectly flaky pastries to the fresh, flavorful deli items that transport you straight to Italy.

The authenticity is unmatched. You can truly taste the difference in the quality of their ingredients and the care that goes into every item. It’s rare to find a place that nails both bakery and deli offerings so flawlessly, but Bella Sicilia does it effortlessly.

On top of that, the customer service is phenomenal. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They take the time to answer questions, make thoughtful recommendations, and treat every guest like family.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, picking up treats for a special occasion, or just indulging in a little taste of Sicily, Bella Sicilia Bakery and Deli never disappoints. Five stars all the way highly, highly recommended!

Heard about this place after my wife recommended it by seeing a video online of their chicken parm sandwich. My first thoughts when seeing the bread in the video was this was not crappy bread that you find in Harrisburg or Mechanicsburg supermarkets, so I needed to check it out. Coming from NY, I feel I am pretty well versed when it comes to heros so I gave it their taste test.

First off, when you walk in, there is no indication on what you are supposed to do or where you are supposed to go. I originally thought I was on the line to wait to order, but it turned out the people in front of me already ordered and were waiting on their food. Maybe because I came on a busy day on the weekend it was like this, but not sure since this is the only time I’ve been here. After a minute or two I saw people passing me and decided to ask where the line was. Turns out there are two lines, one for pastries and one for sandwiches, but there is nothing that says or shows this. I went to the sandwich line which is on the other side of the store towards the register. After waiting on line for a few minutes I finally got to the front. My wife was waiting on the pastry line. I was greeted by a nice young Italian guy who had the Brooklyn look which was nice to see for once. I believe he and his mom run the place if I am not mistaken.

He asked me for my order, I looked up at the menu and saw “Sandwiches” as a heading for one of their menus on the wall. I was relived to see that and not Hoagie or sub or some crap like that, that you see everywhere in PA. The correct term is sandwich or hero. So already a plus for them when I saw this.

I told him what I wanted and at the same time my wife placed her pasty order. She wasn’t finished yet so he saved my order and as soon as he did thst my wife was done but I already left the line and had to go all the way back on line again to pay for my order which I did not appreciate. Maybe it wasn’t their fault since they do seem to be a but overwhelmed from all of the customers. One thing that would work great for them, would be to have a number system like all the big bakeries do in NYC. The ticket number system would fix their unorganized issue like magic. Another thing I would recommend is having a sign on the pastry side for pastry orders only and maybe another register on that side and one on the other side for sandwich orders. This would help keep the lines moving and food going out much more quicker and efficiently.

After about 30 minutes since I originally ordered, (yes 30 minutes) I finally got 2 sandwiches to go and made my way home. I originally ordered light cheese and light sauce but I think that may have been forgotten.

Overall, the sandwich was not bad at all I must say. The bread is what makes this sandwich, without the bread, the sandwich would just be a regular chicken parm hero you can find anywhere. The sauce on the sandwich was good, I felt they could have melted the cheese a bit more, but the chicken cutlets were nice and pretty thin which was good to see. One thing I think that would elevate this sandwich even further would be to have an option of garlic bread instead of regular. Thus would instantly elevate the taste as I have had them before in NY and they are to die for.

I also got some mini cannolis and rainbow cookies. The rainbow cookies have chocolate sprinkles baked in the chocolate on top. One thing I would also recommend for the owner if you are reading this, don’t bake the sprinkles into the chocolate on top, instead just add those little tiny rainbow sprinkles on top like they do at the pastry shops in the bronx. Provides a much cleaner and tastier experience.

I think if they can fix the line issue and provide a quicker turn around for getting the order, they can be much more profitable, because I will say, as I was waiting for my food, I saw numerous people who were about to come in, saw hiw packed it was, just turn around and leave. Lost money going out the door before they even had a chance to come in.

Would I be back? I believe i would for another hero.

Bella Sicilia Bakery & Deli is an absolute gem! They offer authentic Italian pastries, delicious gelato, and classic deli favorites that are clearly made with care and quality ingredients. Every employee was incredibly friendly and helpful, they took their time, answered all of my questions, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and unrushed.
The pastries were outstanding, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try one of their sandwiches next time. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re craving a true taste of Italy!

We ordered 2 pastries and 1 slice of cake.

The 2 pastries were fine, nothing to write home about, but the cake was frozen SOLID on the inside. We had to dismantle it (as seen in the photo) just to eat it and even then it wasn’t good.

The staff looked at everyone like we made their day worse by being there. No one talked to us until we were ready to order. And the layout inside does a bad job of guiding guests.

Not worth going back.

Decided to stop here last minute, we came in about 10 minutes before closing and the man there, who I’m assuming is the owner, took time to explain each pastry to us and was very kind. Everything we got was absolutely delicious and everything was presented beautifully. On the way out, we sampled some gelato which was delicious and creamy. Definitely will be returning when I’m back in the area.
