I bought 2 oxtail meals, $20 each. My mom started eating hers and noticed they had no oxtail and chicken instead. I tried to give this business a chance even though the other reviews said not to. I won’t be recommending this place anymore. Just be honest with the customer and give them the item they paid for! If you run out of something don’t substitute it for me. Give me the choice of a refund or choosing and item.

Many may know of Caribbean Flava, from their food truck. Now located right across the street from Memorial hospital, is the actual restaurant. There is about 6-7 tables inside if you choose to eat there, I came for takeout. The portion size is very nice, especially for the price of $12. I must say the jerk chicken was very good. The meal came with rice & beans, as well as a side of cabbage. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Totally worth the visit, will be back again.

Ordered Jerk chicken meal. The jerk chicken just wasn’t good and the portion was very small I got alot of rice and beans tho. Wasn’t sure if it was the chicken that was a little salty or the sauce. It taste fresh tho which was a plus. The guy that took my order seems nice.

Absolutely delicious. The plate was heavy with the amount of food I was served. The chicken, vegetables, and rice were tender and full of flavor. The drink selection was good with a variety of tropical flavors. My co-workers kept commenting how good it smelled. I’m telling everyone who will listen to check this place out. 10/5 will be coming back again and again.

Worst experience ever in a Jamaican restaurant. Firstly saw the restaurant being advertised on the news. I was working in Buffalo at the time and wanted oxtails. I made the drive from Buffalo to Niagara for the food. The girl behind the counter never spoke. Talking to her was like pulling teeth. That’s a bad look for the owner, she was very unprofessional. No veggies were available, no plantain were available. Then the kicker was paying $20 for FOUR SMALL pieces of oxtail. When asking the chef about it, his response was “That’s Plenty.” This is one of the main reasons why it’s hard to support your own people when they own and operate their business. BIG disappointment for me.

I keep giving this place chances but this isn’t Caribbean food like you get in Toronto or even Buffalo.
I had the curry chicken. Cabbage tasted fresh and nicely seasoned. For a change instead of only chicken backs they had some small legs. Unfortunately legs were not tender and rather salty. Lots and lots of beans and rice.
This was my last time going back.
Either I’ll make my own curry, go to the Caribbean Experience in Buffalo on Bailey Ave or hit up Toronto.
