Great craft cocktails at very reasonable prices. Bartender was a super nice lady. Music was a great array with good volume level. Will definitely be coming back!
Only complaint was someone had a dog in by the bar- i have nothing against a quiet service dog or something, but this dog kept barking.

This old hotel includes a bar with a couple of pool tables and arcade games and comfortable seating. The hotel is now used for business offices and also residences. It has a great atmosphere with friendly staff. The hotel is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, in Pierre. The beer was cold, and the free popcorn was delicious.

We’ve rented the back room at the St. Charles for several events— bridal shower, family get-togethers, etc. We have always have great service. Just tell them how many people and what type of event, and they set up all the tables and chairs, including table cloths. Sound system, projector. The owner has awesome hospitality and is professional in how he operates, yet laid back. And who doesn’t like a full bar connected to your event? Or you can close off the space and be completely separate from the bar if wanted. You can bring your own catering or non-alcoholic drinks. Highly recommend, will rent again

The large clear ice balls are perfect with a top shelf whiskey. The signature cocktails are a must have. I have a few more to try, but so for the Mai Tai and the Cucumber Collins are my favorite.

A great place to sit and have a coffee martini on the occasion my girls get together for drinks. Beautiful job. Modern, yet rustic atmosphere. Good music options. Drinks are fun and relevant. I see their specials posted a lot and reminds me of the bar I ran back home in Oregon. This place was FINALLY a fun little bar for the 20-30 somethings in Pierre to go without a bunch of yucky drunks and drama. Dig it.

We stopped into St. Charles Lounge, it was awesome. Want to give a special shout out to Sophie, our bartender. She did not just make drinks, she crafted them…and crafted them well! She took the time to make them properly yet was very fast at doing it. I have been working in the Bar/Restaurant business for over 40 years and Sophie impressed me. The atmosphere and vibe of the bar was very relaxing, warm, and welcoming. I give kudos to Sophie, and the bar…..had a wonderful experience….!!!

In town for a couple days with truck repairs. Looking for a bar with pool tables and liquor. Came across the St Charles. What a fantastic bar! Great music, nice tables, mellow atmosphere. Everyone sitting at the bar was very welcoming. Jeremy was bartending, what a nice guy! The whole evening was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in town!

More upscale than not. Bottom shelf whiskey is Forty Creek. Great selection of cocktails. Staff was friendly. Fun games you can play at the bar for free.

We love the St. Charles! It’s a high class bar experience right here in Pierre! The staff is always so knowledgeable and Nate can make any drink you want and many you’ve never heard of. Do yourself a favor and get the Espresso Martini or the Vieux Carre!
