Even though I’m a Texan, Detroit style is my favourite style of pizza. I have had the fortune to go to Detroit for work and have actual Detroit pizza. While deferring to those native to Detroit, I have to say this pizza is the closest I have had to what I had the pleasure to eat in Detroit. The fried calamari and sauce are fantastic. The basic pepperoni pizza is amazing, so much flavor! I’m not one to usually get fancy pizzas, but I do want to try some of the other specialty pizzas. If you’re going for lunch they have a great salad/slice/drink special.
This was my first time there and Brad was great at making me feel like a welcomed customer and keeping my sweet tea topped off.
Will definitely return for more pizza!!!

We came here with friends and really enjoyed it! While we didn’t get the Detroit style pizza (Jersey girl), the Greek traditional was delicious as was the pasta with meat sauce. Highly recommend the huli huli wings too! Our friends ordered the Detroit pepperoni and chicken artichoke which they loved. The service was amazing even being very busy. The bartender made delicious Italian margaritas.
They also have gluten free options.

We had a great experience at Motor City Pizza. The pizza was really tasty, hot, flavorful, and satisfying. The dinner garden salad was crisp, fresh, and a nice balance to the meal.
It was definitely crowded, but the staff did an excellent job handling the volume. Service stayed friendly, efficient, and organized despite how busy it was.
Overall, a solid spot with good food and a hardworking team. We would happily go back.

We came across this pizza place featured on the local news, and decided to give it a try. My family and I had an overall fantastic experience at this restaurant. The decor was impressive, and we were thoroughly impressed by the restaurant’s decorum.
We ordered the deep dish Motown Supreme and the deep dish pepperoni. The Motown Supreme was an absolute delight! It was so delicious that we couldn’t stop raving about it. As our food was being prepared, we couldn’t help but admire the accolades on the wall, which proudly proclaimed Motor City Pizza as the best pizza in Dallas.
Our server, Jojo, was incredibly friendly and attentive. She made sure that we had everything we needed and that our dining experience was enjoyable.
The only minor drawback was the unsightly and unhygienic cups that our beverages were served in. However, aside from that, we had a wonderful time at this restaurant. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great pizza experience.

I saw the advertisement on Facebook about the Frito Chilli Pie Pizza. So I decided to drive out and try it. The restaurant is cute with a warm atmosphere. Jojo is the sweetest and the male server was awesome as well. I got the food home and OMG!!!!!!! The food did not disappoint. I also got the Cajun Dusted Wings. I even posted my food on Facebook to let my friends know. I will DEFINITELY go back and try other things

Moved here recently, being a native Michigander and someone whose family owned Detroit style pizza places in greater Detroit for years, this one really hurts.
Underbaked and over fermented. Cheese was barely melted and next to no color. Toppings were barely cooked. Zero color and zero crisp on the bottom and sided of the pizza and slightly dense which is a crime in Michigan.
The good news is the sauce was good.
Wings were incredibly salty but good flavor.
Bummer.

I have lived right behind Motor City Pizza since well before it opened and had not stopped in because I thought I didn’t like anything but Napoli style pizza, but I had seen so many good comments on social media and reviews through different local critiques that I decided to try it. I can now say that it may be my first time there but won’t be my last. The pizza was amazing! I got the Eastern Market and added pepperoni and extra sauce. I thought pizza with sauce on the top probably wouldn’t have enough of it but I was wrong there too. It had plenty of sauce, just the right amount. The ricotta on top made it for me. It was so good! I can’t recommend this place enough. My waitress was Jojo and she was very sweet and helpful.

I moved back here from the Detroit area 1.5 yrs ago. This place does Detroit style pizza better than any of my favorites up there. Two reasons: The crust is just absolutely perfect balance of crunchy and chewy. Second, they have some super creative topping combos. We had the Birria (brisket and cilantro with a delicious cream) and the Eastern Market (basil, ricotta, etc). This isn’t a fancy place, but it’s got great Detroit/Michigan memorabilia. They put their money into the pizza thank goodness!!

First time ever trying a Detroit style pizza. I have heard a lot of good reviews about this place so I had to try it out myself. My nephew and a friend of mine have a problem with gluten so it was great knowing that they had gluten free pizza. It was the best pizza I ever had and my nephew and friend loved their gluten free pizza. We will definitely be back again.

Fun place, nice bar with a good selection of liquors & beers. Deep pan pizza is DELIGHTFUL except for one thing… way too much salt in the sauce. Otherwise, super. Next time, I will ask for lower salt ingredients. I think I’ll order it with extra cheese also. I got the 5 meat, and it was piled high!
Thanks, Guys!
