As my mother and I walked in on Saturday afternoon, we were greeted by two young men at the counter. One of them was named James, and while I didn’t catch the other gentleman’s name, both were an absolute pleasure to deal with. James was especially helpful and patient with my mother, taking the time to answer her questions and make thoughtful suggestions. From start to finish, their friendly attitudes and professionalism really stood out and made the whole experience enjoyable. Customer service like this is rare these days, and James represents The Honey Baked Ham Company extremely well. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be sure to tell my friends to be on the lookout for him when they visit.

I called from another state to order a whole bone in ham to be delivered on Thursday 3/27/25 so the family would have it after the funeral mass I received word that it was just delivered today 3/29/25. Since I paid an extra delivery fee I would have hoped that my instructions could have been met Very disappointed !!!

We’ve been ordering him from the Broomall location for years. I specifically ordered early this year because they were offering a five dollar off coupon. I went to pick up the ham and unfortunately didn’t realize that I needed to have the coupon with me for it to be applied. I felt like the person that waited on me was rather rude. Was not helpful at all and just kept saying that they were an individually owned store and they had nothing to do with the coupon or the website. There wasn’t anyone else in the store at the time so it wasn’t like they couldn’t of taken the time. Very disappointed when you spend $100 for ham and you get treated like that. They definitely need to have some customer service training. I’m really not sure I’ll be back.

I’ve been a fan of Honey Baked Ham company for about 5yrs now. I ordered a Spiral ham with bone in center for about 20people. And, I’m not a ham eater but I had several slices Mmmm delicious. But, this year I purchased a small ham and turkey breast and several sides. The string beans was popping and the apples, also the yams with nuts. Everything was great we still have some leftovers.

Store hours posted on the door stated closing at 6:00 pm. I arrived at 3:45 pm to order a sandwich. Two rude and impolite male teenagers replied, sandwich center just closed. I asked if that was company policy – 2 hours before closing. They replied “didn’t matter”, we have an owner. I asked if that was ok with the owner? The answer I received was “Call him if you want”. I can’t wait until these two snowflakes need a real job in the real world and learn a hard lesson. As for the owner, he needs to fire these 2 with a nasty attitude and hire young people with manners.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE SO I WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION. Every year in honor of my dad we get his fave ham from honey baked. This year I brought a ham for $56 that was full of fat. Remind you you pay by the weight of the ham and this ham was over 50% fat. I called today and was told bring the ham back and you will get a gift card. I tried to explain to the owner *Andrew* I live close to 30mins away so to drive there for a giftcard and waste gas wouldn’t be smart. I wanted my money back but could he mail the giftcard since that’s the only option and I’ll email the pics of the fatty ham. He said no that’s the policy I then asked could I complain higher he replies I write the checks I’m the boss lol like ok sir. Long story short I own a business as well and policy is policy however in some cases you should use your better judgement. For me it’s a waste of money but at lease I can warn others. If you can purchase a ham from another location I say do that. Ps. Dear Andrew the boss remember you never know who is on the other side of the phone. Choose your words wisely…
