Great place to eat! The smash burger is delicious. I loved the pickles! Caesar salad was very good! Perfect amount of dressing for me. The Figgy Piggy Pie was very good but unexpectedly spicy for the guest that had ordered it. Service was slow but that was due to only having one waitress working the lunch shift. I really wanted to try the brussel sprouts and Mexican street corn dip that I read reviews of but they aren’t available at lunch.

The customers who come into this restaurant are incredibly rude and I am absolutely mortified of how people act in restaurants and how they treat their servers. They are there to serve you and to make sure that you have a good experience. There is absolutely no need to belittle them for how they look. If you have absolutely nothing nice to say, then please just don’t say anything at all because it only makes their day worse. I am extremely displeased and disgusted, to say the very least.

My friends and I were excited to try this new restaurant in Manteo and it did not disappoint. We started with a few appetizers of oysters on the half shell, roasted Brussel sprouts and tuna nachos. The sprouts were amazing with lots of flavor and crispy bits just we all like. The Tuna nachos are a definite must and the oysters were nicely dressed and salty. We ordered a few pizzas, mushrooms, and scampi. The crust was perfectly crisp, charred, and soft. The mushroom pizza came with fresh whole morel mushrooms and the scampi pizza included not only fresh shrimp but clams in the shells. We also ordered the shrimp and scallops with grit cakes, and it was some of the best I have had. Lastly, we tried the seared tuna over curried noodles, which was a pure delight. To end the meal, we ordered three desserts, and they were gone so fast we didn’t even take pictures! Our vote was for the table banana split complete with fresh baked brownie, chocolate, vanilla ice cream and bruleed bananas.

My wife has been coming to this place since she was a little girl back when it was, “The Elizabethan.” Then it became a pancake house. The amazing renovation work Saga did to make the, “Firetender,” is fantastic. The pizza was wonderful and the flour less chocolate tort with vanilla ice cream was decadent. Thanks, Firetender for the hospitality and food. Great start to your new restaurant.

An exciting new breakfast! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels 1st class. The staff are very pleasant and eager. The breakfast menu only has so many options, but they all sound so delicious, it was hard to choose the first. I decided to try the Lemencello Pancakses and my wife ordered the Chorizo breakfast wrap. Both were all-stars, beginning with the presentation. Very delicious and we’ll prepared food. It’s something different than your eggs, bacon and grits if you enjoy that. We cannot wait to come back and try more breakfast options and some of the dinner menu.

Great restaurant with a relaxed vibe. Cozy, trendy inside seating as well as comfortable outdoor seating. Food was amazing. We had the Corn Dip and the Pizza Ala Vodka. Both came out hot and delicious! Will definitely be going back again to try other items on their menu.

So great to have another awesome food option in manteo! Here you can do breakfast or dinner. My boyfriend and I went for breakfast today and had a great time. It’s absolutely beautiful inside, they did an incredible job with the ambiance. Very dark, sleek, and gorgeous. We barely have any restaurants like this in the entirety of the obx. It’s super unique!
The food was very good! I got the country mile, a classic breakfast, and he got the breakfast burrito. We thoroughly enjoyed both!
Our server was Sarah, she was great! Very kind, polite, and on top of it. We came in a little late (I wasn’t aware they closed during the day) but I was glad that they still seated us. I Definitely recommend trying this new place! If you do come be kind and patient. It’s a new restaurant in a very busy tourist area!
