This is the freshest assortment of meals in the area, and it is nestled right next to the beautiful park! Inside is a simple affair with white tables and chairs with a clear view of the clean kitchen. The food is prepared right in front of your eyes as you wait. As for the taste, I really enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich with a perfectly crusted croissant and crispy lettuce, drizzled in a pecan sauce. The mac and cheese is so good. My mom had the hamburger steak, which is an elevated version of our childhood memories with local meat. You will not be disappointed stopping here for lunch!
If you want to know yellow vs white potato salad, this is a unique variation in of itself melding the two. I recommend giving it a try no matter what team you’re on.

I don’t think any of the reviews on here adequately describe the treat you’re in for at Bobbie Jeans. The building is empty, aside from some fold out white tables and chairs. No decorations, no adornments, just a few places to plop down and eat your meal. The smell of the food that Bobbie is cooking just 20 feet away is all the “razzle dazzle” this place needs.
I got the simplest thing one could imagine, a burger. Cheddar cheese, grilled onions, bacon, and a black jack ranch patty, with a side of cabbage.
To take something so fundamentally simple and create it with absolute perfection, is a true craft. The onions were perfectly grilled, the meat perfectly charred. The bacon was crispy, but not so much that it falls to pieces when you bite it. The cabbage tasted like my granny was back there standing next to him.
To top it off, after showering him with praise before I left, Bobbie humbly reminded me of the importance of the quality of the products he uses, and minimized his own importance to the overall experience. “My job is just not to mess it up.”
This place is a true treat to have in Wiggins, and the cost was cheaper than the other mom and pops around here. If you get the chance, stop by Bobbie Jeans and experience the pure art that comes from optimized, perfected simplicity. I’m eager to return!

The food was really good. I got the veggie plate and ordered black eyed peas, potato salad and stewed cabbage. It came with a large piece of really good cornbread. The food and prices were good. The man that waited on me was super friendly. They’re off the beaten path but please support them. I’ll definitely be back!

We were on a family walk when we stumbled across Bobbies Jean’s Eatery. On a whim we decided to give it a shot. Some of the best if not the best food in wiggins that we’ve had so far. The owner is very nice and attentive to his customers. We will definitely be back to eat again. The smothered porkchop with squash and tomatoes, and black eyed peas are amazing! The meatloaf was so good. The gumbo is delicious as well. Next trip we plan on trying more food.
