Ordered their birria taco plate, price is decent but portions are very poor. Their tacos are extremely small and side beans and rice just there to say they are there. Complementary salsa roja and verde were tasty but again containers super small they get stuck with salsa not easy to get any salsa on food. Service is good our waitress was nice and attentive. Their churros are amazing.

Food and prices were very good! Very clean and remodeled space looks appetizing! Staff was great and a very cute candy area for kiddos. I enjoyed a chilled shrimp tostado that was marinated in amazing onions and flavorful! Spouse had a gigantic burrito that was divine! Lets be sure to keep them in business Royse City folks!!! ALSO…amazing churro sticks for dessert!!

I decided to try Birrieria Aguinaga at the recommendation of a friend and an instagram reel I had seen. I’m glad i went! The restaurant was quiet, new and the food was delicious! The staff was extremely friendly and kept asking if everything was to our liking. I am vegetarian so it is sometimes hard to find places that will accommodate. The meal started off with chips and 3 different types of delicious salsa! Birrieria aguinaga had cactus tacos. Ive never tried cactus and the staff was so kind as to let me try the filling beforehand. They have an extensive menu and the food can be altered to your liking. I tried the Tacos Ahogados and a Torta with grilled onions. They were absolutely delicious! They even celebrate Taco Tuesday with $1 tacos! I definitely recommend Birrieria Aguinaga and will be going back!

I went to this establishment because I wanted tacos and my aunt recommended it. The atmosphere was really nice and well-lit. They even have a mural next to a mirror by the bathroom and a prop wall for picture taking.

The BBOur waitress was nice and did a great job with checking on us and taking care of our needs. The only problem I had was that the food was not top-tier. The meat, beans, rice, and salsa were all bland with no flavor or seasoning. I had to drown my food in salt to get some kind of flavor. Btw we both had the taco platter with rice and beans on the side. I did, however, enjoy the spicy onions and Verde salsa.

The food I had today was not worth the $40 that was spent. I’m not sure if I will be giving them another chance.

Newly opened location and loved the atmosphere and cleanliness. We were greeted and seated immediately.
Our Server, Jimena, was a very sweet, friendly, and informative young lady.
The food came out in a timely manner. They do not have fountain drinks, they have bottled soda. They bring chips and salsa, the chips were decent but a little on the harder crunch side for my liking. The salsa was a bit runny and had a little kick which was fine on a spice level. The burrito typically has beans, rice, your choice of meat, and cheese but I opted out of beans and chose carnitas. The burrito overall was a bit dry and the meat was dry and underseasoned but loved that they seared the outside of the burrito. The quesabirria had more flavor but we added a little more salt. It was juicy and tender but quite greasy. We ended it with churros with no filling and they were warm, with a good soft crunch and yummy cinnamon and sugar coating, these were delish.
Overall, they were decent and we would come back and try their tacos and breakfast which is served all day…yey.

Stopped by Birrieria Aguinaga after seeing it in passing. Ordered the QuesaBirria Plate, which I thought came w/beans & rice. Got home & was disappointed to find that it was only 3 tacos. Shame on me. For $13, the tacos were just ok. The service was good, but there was nothing that stood out flavor wise to make me want to try them again, especially for the price.

Im so happy we got a traditional Mexican food joint.
The food was overall amazing.
We got beef quesabirria tacos, huarache, & shrimp tostada. All was so good, the huarache was filled so appropriately and all the flavors were soo delicious. The salsas were just perfect, they have 3(chips salsa, green, and red) they all have a different hint of spice. The beers were nice and cold.
I recommend 100%!!!
Go try it!
& they do not only have tacos, they have alot of other amazing food options.

Walking in, the atmosphere was nice! Decor and lighting (although very bright when coming in for dinner) was nice and modern and set my expectations higher than maybe they should’ve been.

The staff was friendly although our server was obviously new to serving and clearly inexperienced. It would be beneficial for management to do some training in this area to level up the dining experience.

The food… I’ll say my expectations were probably higher than they should’ve been. I’ve been to some highly rated birriarias so my bar was high. I got the quesabirria (birria quesadilla), my husband got a shrimp burrito, my son got asada fries and my daughter got asada nachos.

The chips and salsa they brought to the table ahead of our main meal was nice. The chips were good. The house salsa was delicious! They also brought a squeeze bottle of spicier salsas – likely a tomatillo/serrano/Jalapeno based green salsa and a habanero salsa… definitely a good kick for both! However there was a slight fizz like it was not properly fermented which was kinda off putting.

The quesabirria was good, I’d give it a solid B. Cheese to meat ratio was good and there was a nice crispy edge. The consumè/dip/broth seemed kinda thin and watered down. It wasn’t very flavorful in comparison to the meat in the quesadilla. I would’ve rather had a smaller portion or rich flavorful broth.

The burrito was OK, another solid B. Shrimp wasn’t overcooked. Was a no-frills kinda meal.

The asada nachos and fries were disappointing… not enough cheese on either. The nachos came soggy unfortunately.

Lastly I’ll mention that the menu was really funky and arranged/worded in a disorganized way… like one taco is $3 but 3 tacos is $12? Overall it took some focus to look thru it.

I’ll give this place some time to mature before returning to try it again. This restaurant has so much potential to go from good to great with a few simple tweaks.

We’ve been 3 times in two weeks!
The birria options are endless and all so good, I’ve tried the Texas Toast, the Quesabirria, and the crispy taco versions. The broth is delicious and perfect for dunking
We also tried the asada fries, and the nachos de asada (amazing!)
The burrito ahogado drowned in jalisco was delicious.
The aguas fresca are all good, favorite being the horchata.
For dessert I’ve only tried the churros, which were piping hot fresh and dripping with dulce.
Service is great, a few “new restaurant” hiccups here and there but the staff is very attentive.
Will definitely be back!

So I took my 5 kids to dinner tonight since it was suppose to be $1 tacos. In all actuality the tacos are $1.03 before tax. When we arrived we waited about 10 minutes before we placed our drink order. There was a table behind us that had a party of 8. They received their chips & salsa before us. There was another party of 4 in a booth that arrived well after us and received their what looked to be a taco platter before us. We ordered water for our drinks. My oldest son told me he needed another water since his had something red floating in it. So I gave him my water. Then my middle daughter shortly after said something red was on her ice. I told her I would get her another drink. When the waitress finally came to check on us I explained the situation about the water and she said that it was probably tajin and that she would get them another drink. She did bring back 2 waters but my youngest finished his water and he needed another refill. So I didn’t want him waiting so I gave him my water. I was hoping she would have realized that I needed a water but she never did. We kept putting the empty cups at the end of the table. Another waitress kept looking at our table as if to say why don’t they have their food? Not sure if my food ticket got lost in the kitchen or the waitress forgot to put it in. We order 24 tacos but only 20 tacos arrived almost an hour later. When we finally received our food my youngest son (who is 6) did not receive his food. So my oldest daughter gave her food to him since they ordered the same exact thing. I informed the waitress that my son was the 4th person to place an order. The waitress said she had it written down and that it was the kitchens fault. The reality is she should have made sure the entire order was there before it left the kitchen. She did say she was sorry. I even asked before we paid should it have taken an hour for us to receive our food and the cashier said maybe my ticket got pushed back but they also had a bunch of orders. She never asked if I wanted to talk to a manager. She just kept giving me excuses.
