This used to be my favorite restaurant in the whooooole world. It got me through nursing school. Service is still great but the last 2-3 times, the grilled pork sandwiches had way too many chewy pieces of meat (it grossed me out and I had to pick apart the sandwich before eating it.) and a lot less of the veggies, as if they were trying to make the veggies stretch out for more sandwiches. It’s seriously disappointing because this place didn’t miss for so many years. Idk if I will go back soon. If I do, I will probably not get a banh mi sandwich or will give up and try another type of sandwich 🙁

Stopped here just to get an iced coffee but it was only $5 for a large. Service was fast, efficient, and they were nice. Will definitely be back for a sandwhich next time im in the area.

New location for me, but same great food and service. Line was non existent during lunch which is rare. Not sure if it’s because of the location or if they are new, but was a surprise. Hope they get busier for all our sakes though as we need great small business to flourish. I actually have two locations that are closer to my office, but good to know I have at least one more option to consider. This one has a lot more seating, albeit outside as well.

Great location with easy parking behind the shop. Got the grilled pork banh mi ($7) and the large 24 oz. iced espresso with condensed milk ($6). Cousin got the veggie banh mi ($7) and 16 oz. Thai tea ($5). Also enjoyed their pork egg roll for $1.25, hot and crispy!

I really enjoyed the food and beverage, but did find it a bit strange to see just how many peanuts were in my banh mi. A little less peanuts and a little more grilled pork would go a long way!

I love a good banh mi. I have seen their other My Tho shops and this is the first one I’m trying.

I got the speacial (dac biet), grilled pork sandwich (thit heo nuong), vermicelli rice noodles (bun thit heo cha gio), and grilled lemongrass pork roll.

The sandwiches are great but I wish the bread were baguettes. Their bread are house rolls. Vermicelli noodles could use some more sauce as the one that were in the box just didn’t seem to really add too much flavor to it. Grilled lemongrass pork roll was delicious. It’s basically a rolled up bun thit heo (vermicelli rice noodles). Dipping gives you more flavor in every bite.

Took about 15min for the food to be ready, not too bad. They have seating on the side. Only downside is that they close early (4pm).

I wish I lived closer to Banh Mi My Tho #3. The cuisine is authentic. Great Vietnamese food.
Their Banh Mi bread is made perfectly it is light and crunchy. The vegetables are perfectly pickled and not too sweet. I think their Vietnamese ice coffee is the best in San Gabriel Valley. They make it daily, and it’s perfectly sweetened.
The seating is all outdoors with umbrellas. I noticed they have a lot of take out orders. I can’t wait to return and try something else on the menu. I highly recommend that you try this restaurant. The restaurant is family owned and operated. They have three restaurants in the SG Valley.

It was ok. It was not bad.
I might come back another time.

The strawberry passion fruit green tea from here is sweet and really good. It would be nice if they could make it less sweet.

Review is for food only. Not service or store.

Banh mi did not disappoint. This is just as good as their other location on Alhambra. The only difference I noticed is that they give more veggies.

Repeat: a big yes. See picture for yummy picture.

CASH only. $5 banh mi and $5.25 broken rice, or Vermicelli noodles. Cheap! Even if it was dry, quality is less questionable than banh mi chi cali. Can’t complain at this price. Outdoor patio of first come first seat. Own parking lot.

+ One of the best Banh Mi I’ve had! The bread was slightly moist yet still having that springy texture, the grilled beef was succulent and flavorful and the radish slaw was perfectly seasoned and refreshing! I also added a fried egg with running yolks! The combination of the above ingredients really make every bite so satisfying!

+ The person took the order was friendly and patient, and our food was ready in less than 5 mins.

~ This place is essentially a hut with outdoor seating outside.
