Reviews
Their drunken noodles were so full of flavors, they are way better than the versions from other outlets around here. The seafood was very fresh in the glass noodles (Yum Woon Sen). The Ka Prao stir fried vegetables were very good, too. The steamed rice that came with it was moist and flagrant. Yum!
I’m from Sydney, Australia where we’re accustomed to top quality Thai food. So I’m extra happy to taste their authentic Thai flavors!
We had fish cakes (so fresh and yummy) as an appetizer and then (see photo for the 2 mains) Pad See Ew with crispy pork and Spicy Thai Basil. They are all so delicious!
The restaurant also has such a clear positive feel and our waiter is warm, friendly and attentive.
We will definitely be back soon!
You can actually taste the care and attention they put into every meal — fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and generous portions. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the experience even better.
If you’re craving authentic Thai food that feels like home, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
The Fried Rice and Drunken Noodles were absolutely phenomenal—bursting with authentic flavor! Regarding the Crispy Pork, it was a bit different from what we expected (as Koreans who enjoy pork belly three times a week, haha). When we mentioned this, the server was incredibly kind and helpful, offering to exchange the dish for us.
We switched to the Spicy Basil Beef, and it was perfect! The food is top-notch, but the service truly sets this place apart. The staff is genuinely attentive and professional. If we crave Thai food again during our stay in San Diego, this is definitely the place we’ll return to. Highly recommended!
The photos and reviews looked fantastic so the Tom Yum noodles baffled us – it looked nothing like what was pictured on their online menu or other patrons’ old google/yelp photos. It had literally zero vegetables in it – just four overcooked shrimp, sad noodles, and limp mung bean sprouts. It had an unidentifiable, sweet taste to it, not at all savory, hot or tangy like a traditional Tom Yum.
The green curry didn’t contain any bright flavors of fresh lemongrass or lime leaf – it tasted like sweet, cheap coconut milk, lacked fish sauce, and was likely made with some budget brand pre-made curry paste (and definitely not even a good one). It actually DYED the color of the soft tofu AND the chicken an artificial, almost neon-looking green color, which I have never seen in my life. So unappetizing; wish I’d taken a photo. The food was prepared and delivered later than promised and by then we were so hungry that despite not being able to eat the awful food, we didn’t have time to order from anywhere else. Literally the only positive thing I can say is that the vegetables in the green curry seemed fresh. There were, however, giant chunks of bamboo that had that familiar, unpleasant, out-of-a-can musky flavor – not unlike mothballs.
Who knows – maybe their fried rice or stir fry dishes would be good in a pinch, but we were totally let down by our experience and had to settle for air fried chicken tenders for dinner. Womp womp.
Food is very authentic.
Make sure you tell them the spicy rating you wanted (1 – 10).
The Mongo sticky rice dessert is excellent with a balanced taste of sweet and saltiness.
Highly recommend this place if you are looking for the an authentic Thai cuisine.
Having gone to Thailand I have set the bar really high for my Thai cuisine restaurant choices.
This place definitely makes INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS Thailandese food. Vegan Thai Tea is perfect. Papaya salad is excelente & green curry is TOP NOTCH, Tim Kha is espectacular! I will certainly be trying many more dishes.
This will be my official Thai restaurant recommendation for all friends & my personal go-to in town.
The atmosphere is cozy & welcoming.
Props to the chefs & staff.
