Open seasonally, this is a gem of a place for brunch.
Pictured here: Salmon Benedict
Fresh, perfectly cooked and prepared
My mom and I love to come to brunch here. Unpretentious and classy. We enjoy the Benedict’s, shrimp cocktail and tuna Nicoise Salad.
Great morning drinks too. Margaritas, bloody Mary’s and mimosas
Open April thru early November.

The service was a bit slow, and the food was ok. I got the New Mexico Benedict. The egg was perfectly cooked; the sauce was tasty, and I liked the chorizo and green chili. The potatoes, however, were bland and a little overcooked.

Food was delicious. Restaurant is beautiful. But the service….. Table of 4, everyones food came out. Mine came out about 10 minutes later. Then our appetizer came out about 15 minutes after. I’d definitely go back. We had to ask for refills. Hopefully the service gets better.

Service was kinda slow because they were packed on a Friday night but the food was great! Worth the wait. I had the prime rib, my husband had the pork chop – both beautifully done and cooked how we liked.

Expensive but very good food. Service was good also. The building is beautiful and a great example of Southwest architecture. Nice brunch menu.

Very friendly staff. They accommodate a large group with separate checks better than any place in town. Good selection of dishes

Beautiful place for a wedding. Everything was exceptional. The view was unforgettable and the weather… Was the weather. My only dislike was my pasta plate didn’t come out like everyone else. My pasta came with what looked like chewed and spat broccoli in place of the asparagus everyone else had. Otherwise it was a good venue that had everything needed for a reception celebration.

We often go to The Terrace Restaurant at the Taos Country Club for brunch with neighbors. It’s relatively inexpensive and open to anyone. Good fixed menu, and great specials. Full bar, but like every other restaurant, there are sometimes brand name shortages. Service is quite good. The Country Club needs to provide more parking spaces, especially for brunch. Very reliable food quality.

I dont even know where to start… we left exasperated, our server was welling up. Total lack of management. Just no support for the staff, no experience people on the floor. Were there for 2 hours, and had to basically beg for service, food, even to sit. I The hostess couldn’t work the phone, and did’t know how to take names, and she was just flapping in the wind, that combination of nothing to do and total overwhelm, I had to lol when she pulled up a chair to the hostess stand, and just sat. We thought once we sat it would be better, nope, just more confusion, waiting, looking for someone, Just a mess, Like we got one app fast, and then just should have left money on the table, and gone anywhere else. but no one had cash, so some how we continued to try.. should we have just dined and dashed that app? Like would that have been better for everyone involved? Probably. I felt so sorry for the whole room, servers and customers alike. We should have left after an hour, but like everyone was starving, so bad I went to the pro shop to buy a bag of chips and a granola bar for the table. But 2 hours is too long for restaurant that is 35% full. drifting in a daze trying not to look at people who where waiting in the eye. Just like painfully slow, and then kind of sad because everyone we interacted with was like either hiding in by the pass, or sooo stressed, mostly hiding by the pass, like no one is on the floor most of the time, which is wierd because it was not busy at any point.. none of us could escape. The owners should apologize to their staff for total recipe for failure. It’s not clear where the problem was, the vibe was misery and incompetence that either trickled down or percolated up.I have been there a few times, and it smells like failure is eminent. Hopefully they close for the winter and regroup… but it was really like uncomfortably wierd and stressful, and like we should have just left with out eating and without paying for that one app. Sorry to the server, I think one of the elderly people we were with chewed her out by the end.
OH yeah: To add to the whole experience, in the parking lot this guy creepily kept being lecherous toward my child about how cute she was while he followed us. I was like are you cat calling a 4 year old? I told him it was enough and to just move along. Just… I… I dont know what was that vortex? Will definitely not go back to find out..
