Fading Away
Went to this location at approximately 5:30 pm. There wasn’t a single car in the parking lot. I was skeptical about going due to the lack of traffic. I placed an order for the big bacon jack combo add onion and pickle with a large coke. I was told to pull up like always. I waited ten minutes or longer for my order, which would’ve been fine as long as my food was fresh…because what else would explain the long wait. I finally got my order but the onions and pickles I requested were missing. So I dive back around to the drive thru and ask if they could just give me the missing toppings on the side along with an extra tomato because the one I was given was super small…it still took awhile. The young lady comes back with the pick and onion but no tomato. So she goes back and it too so long that I requested a refund. All of a sudden six workers are at the register for the refund while two other cars are still pulled up. At this point Im wondering why my fries were cold and why my order took so long if it’s that many people working. The young lady who assisted with my refund was very polite and professional and she did offer to make thing right but I declined and decided to take my business elsewhere. They voided my transaction instead of issuing a refund. This location has the potential to be so much better but it’s clear that the management and employees don’t care. There’s no excuse for food being cold when it’s that slow.

My husband and I had breakfast on11/29/2025. He placed the order at. 9:40 and waited over an hour. When he finally got the order it was not right. They did not have his order plus the food was cold. The people waited on customers of color before my. Husband on a great number of occasions. We will not go back there. The girls acted as if we did not matter.

We ordered special breakfast and the gravy was horrible. Wayyy too much salt. This has happened here before and it does no good to complain about it. “It’s just a mix and that’s they way they send it. Maybe it was a bad batch from corporate. We don’t add anything to it.” The quality has become hit and miss. If you get gravy from here it’s at your own risk.

Food was hot fresh and served with speed and urgency. Customer service was top tier! Definitely will be my first choice whenever I’m having fast food in Indianola.

If you’re thinking about stopping at the Jacks in Indianola, MS… don’t. Honestly, save yourself the disappointment. I pulled up at 3:42 PM, made a simple chicken order, and didn’t leave until 4:25 PM. That’s almost an hour for chicken — not a five-course meal. And before anyone says “maybe they were busy,” no. Folks were literally hanging around outside like it was a block party, chilling, talking, not doing a thing that looked like work.
Inside wasn’t any better. The cooks were moving in slow motion, talking like they had all day, while the rest of us customers stood there wondering if they planned on cooking anything this decade. I already paid, so I had no choice but to stay. I checked on my order three times, and somehow they still managed to give my food away to somebody else. Make it make sense.
At this point, I honestly wish they’d just hurry up and close this location, because it’s the same mess every single time. In my opinion, this is a complete waste of a restaurant, and the way things are run here is beyond unacceptable. The customer service, the pace, the attitude — all of it is a disaster.
Do better, or don’t do it at all.

I had a large mobile order. When I got there, the only food they had ready was biscuits. When they finally decided to help me, they said I’d have to wait for my order. I had to wait about 15 minutes for the chicken to get done before they dropped my strips. In all, I waited about 25 minutes for food and got no apologies. They do not care about customers at all. If anything, I felt like I was a bother to them.

We ordered two burgers and an order of fries, nothing complex.
The order-taker inadvertently left their microphone active while taking our order. It sounded as if they were also taking someone else’s order simultaneously, and needed us to repeat our order.
The only car ahead of us had already been asked to pull past the window to wait.
We were also directed to pull over to wait. The next two vehicles behind us were directed to park and wait. That’s four vehicles parked and waiting.
It took 8-10 minutes for our order to be delivered to the parking lot. Being directed to pull forward past the window and/or park to wait for food is a frequent occurrence at this location. If there is a time metric for clearing the window (presumably customers having their order), the metric is useless.
When it was delivered, the employee was wearing the typical vinyl food prep gloves. We watched the employee return to the restaurant, opening the door with their gloved hands. We can only assume they continued working without changing gloves. Admittedly, that is a large assumption, but wearing gloves to deliver wrapped and bagged food, and operating a door handle, implies to me a lack of understanding of cross contamination risks.
Save yourself some frustration, there’s plenty of fast food options within sight of this location.

Says open till 10pm but the doors were locked at 9:30 and they said they were closed. With having semi truck parking y’all really shouldn’t be closing early.
