My husband and I decided to give this place a chance although is always empty (that’s normally a sign that either the food or the service is not good). We went in on a day when we saw some people there because we got curious, big mistake! All the people there were relatives & friends of each other (clearly just a front to trick people into thinking the place might be good). The place stinks like fish, the tacos were nasty & for a moment I thought maybe the salsa’s would be the game changer since they did have quite the variety, wrong again.
P.S. All these other reviews have to either be fake or done by their relatives & friends as well.
Don’t just take my word for it, give them a try. I am sure you won’t want to go back.

Service here was very slow waited 20 minutes, carne asada was very salty, salsas had no flavor, my al pastor tacos tasted rancid, very expensive for these small tacos, after we brought it to the attention of the cashier, many customers were agreeing with us. The problem is that customers don’t speak up.

The food heres is amazing. First time there and I fell in love with the place. The service was great. The food was even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Hopefully I will be near Hayward soon to eat here again.

If you know what true Mexican street tacos are and how to eat them, this is the place for you. Pricey? Not really, if you know how much work goes with prepping fresh ingredients every day. For $12 you can get 4 very well served tacos, complimentary beans (frijoles de holla), spicy cucumbers (with lime and chile), nopales with onions and a very good variety of salsas. You also get one standard size fresh water (pineapple, cucumber and lime, or horchata).
Simply the best! I can’t wait to go and try the birria on Saturday morning 🙂
Staff is nice and friendly. They work hard and as quickly as possible but if there is a lot of people, be patient, because it is very worth it!

One of the best taqueria’s in the Bay Area.I tried Al Pastor,Asada,and Tripas.They were some of the best tacos I had in a long time.Great customer service and delicious food I highly recommend 3 Gallos.
