Must’ve caught them on a bad day. Worst I’ve ever had. Rice was very overcooked (how does that happen) chicken wings from pupu platter looked and tasted like KFC, terriaki was tough, entrees didn’t have much meat. I won’t go back to waste another $200 take out but I see they get a iot of 5 stars.

Used to be our go to place for Chinese. We ordered at least every week. Since they’ve raised their prices so much it’s just not affordable for our family of 4.
One box of combination appetizers went from $10+ to $15.95.
It’s too bad because the service was great and they always accommodated us for substitutions.
Also the fact that they don’t deliver anymore is disappointing.
We really miss the 88..

88 used to be a small “hole in the wall” type place for easy pick up. I’m not sure if they changed owners, but the food quality has gone downhill. Even a basic plate ribs. rice, chicken fingers and crab Rangoon is so bland that you don’t want to save anything for leftovers. $40.00 I’ll never get back (and won’t return to).

Used to be so good and great prices! Now they nickle and dime you to death and no more delivery! For example, there’s a $1. difference in ordering rice, but if you want beef instead of pork with a dinner, they charge you $3.

Good local takeout restaurant. I have lived in the area for 25 years and recently discovered this place after driving by it for so long. I never gave it a shot (to be honest bc the store front didn’t seem appealing) but I was in search of a decent local Chinese takeout restaurant and finally gave it a shot bc of a friends recommendation. I am in the process of exploring their menu and so far so good. I really like their yang chow fried rice with extra bean sprouts.

This is a small takeout Chinese place. No tables. They also deliver. I get food their often and it is reliably good and freshly prepared when I pick it up. The menu is pretty broad and predictable; all the standard things you’d expect in an urban Chinese takeout. Food is flavorful but not particularly spicy. They are quite fast.

I absolutely love, love this place. Given its only a takeout restaurant but the food for the most part is excellent. I especially love the chicken teriyaki. They use whole chicken breasts for the meat on the skewer. I have not yet been disappointed with their chicken teriyaki. It is perhaps that the teriyaki is not dry.
The soups are plentiful with ingredients and flavor. Although the menu is restrictive they put emphasis on quality and quantity. The prices are moderate but good for what you actually get.
