As former metro NYer I am pretty critical of any place that makes the NY bagel claim. They are very close but not quite there yet. The bagels are in the smaller end and while I admit I got there mid-morning, they did not taste as fresh/soft as they should. They also didn’t have the nice ‘crispy skin’. I got both the ham /egg / cheese and cream cheese/lox. Very generous portions in the lox one, however the sausage and egg was lacking. Disappointing from what I am used to. Prices are also a little too high for the Spring area.

Stopped by and picked up an order to go. The self ordering system is pretty user friendly. Decided to try a few bagels, one everything bagel with cream cheese, and two slices of pizza.

The slices to -go were not anything special. A whole fresh pizza could be a different experience. I’m a fan of pizza, so they did the job.

The bagels were pretty good. Nice texture and chew. Would have liked to have one of each style they make. The cream cheese smear wasn’t generous but enough to enjoy.

Easy to find location, plenty of onsite parking.

The bagels were bigger than I thought! Good-sized portion! I loved my Everything bagel. There was a bit of wait time but that’s understandable because everything is made to order and fresh. Will come back again!

I’ve struggled to find good bagels in Texas after living in New York for so long. This place has brought me back to my childhood in Long Island. The bagels had the right amount of chew, crust, and denseness that I’ve been looking for. I got the everything bagel with lox cream cheese and a pepperoni pizza which was also delicious. Amazing place and it’s the real deal, I highly recommend!

I’ve visited Tri-State Bagels now multiple times. In the beginning The Bagel start off a little bit and small but now they are larger and less sticky and they taste great. Not quite sure if they are serving sandwiches yet, with Boars head cold cuts, I know they were waiting on Boar’s Head to bring in their products. The service is prompt and the last time I ordered an egg sandwich with bacon and I devoured it. The atmosphere is good , perhaps down the line, adding some nice comfortable Furniture inside would be great. Overall one of the best bagel places in the area and I will be returning. Check them out as there’s so much to do around there location in Old Town Spring! Be blessed!

Good bagels. Not great, but about as good as you’ll get from most bagel shops. I left Brooklyn, NY 5 years ago and have been on a quest for a proper NYC bagel, hopeful when we read about tri state, we wanted to try it. Bagels were good, but I think Fuhgedaboudit bagel in the Woodlands makes a better bagel (albeit, also more expensive).

Additionally, I don’t love kiosk ordering when the shop is empty, it takes away from the personality of the store.

Good bagels if you’re passing by, but I wouldn’t make this my destination if bagels are my goal.

I stopped in after leaving my shift this morning and I was super surprised to find a bagel place I hadn’t heard of so close. I was greeted by the owner and had a short chat about how they had been only open for 5 months. When I got my coffee I knew I came to the right place. They have the Anthora coffee cups that you see all over NY, the owner said they order them special. A small detail like that tells me all I need to know about the care that goes into this place and I will be back anytime I’m on that side of town. Bacon, egg and cheese on Everything was solid as well. I wish this business the absolute best and can’t wait to come back and try the pizza!

I arrived around 8am on a Tuesday morning to purchase bagels for my office. There was only one customer in front of me, and another customer arrived after me. I noticed 2 staff working at the time.

I ordered a Baker’s Dozen from their self-order tablet (confirmed to be 13 bagels on the menu) and (2) 6oz containers of cream cheese for a total bill of $33.90. I tipped 10%.

I selected my 13 bagels (of which 3 of my selected flavors were up-charged .50 cents each) and then verbally requested that my bagels be sliced.

When my order printed out behind the counter, it printed at the same time as the second customer who arrived after me. The server seemed a little confused, and I let her know that I was Order No. 8 from my screen confirmation. This seemed to be helpful and she began picking my bagels. I stepped aside so that I didn’t hoover around the counter.

My wait was not overly long, but when the server called my name and handed me my bag, she didn’t have my receipt. When I asked if she had my receipt, she said “no.” I explained that I needed my receipt for a work expense. She asked the worker in the back if he had my receipt, and he also answered no. The other customer waiting said, “I have No. 8, I thought it was a little strange for my order”. I thanked him, thanked the staff, gathered my receipt from that customer, and departed.

When I arrived at work to unpack the bagels, I discovered that I had only received 12 of my “Baker’s Dozen”. Completely frustrating – especially since I was up-charged for 3 of the flavors I ordered. They shorted me a bagel and now that I’m work, I can’t exactly drive back for my (1) missing bagel.

This business was not worth my time or hassle. I won’t be returning there again.

I suggest you count your bagels and check your order thoroughly BEFORE leaving – and make sure you have your receipt if you decide to give them your business.

Got a bagel sandwich. Onion bagel was great, taylor ham slice was too thin for what Im used to in NY/NJ. If it had a little more ham it woud be an excellent sandwich, but was good as is.
