Very friendly staff, amazing food and comforting atmosphere.
I was greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. You have the option of dining in or taking out. If you want to dine in then you can sit at one of the open tables, you will be brought a menu and you can tell the staff your order. You can also go to the sign that says “ order here “ in front of the kitchen window to order takeout as well.
My food was given to me very fast and very hot! I got a beef patty, small jerk chicken with rice & peas and dried plantains , to drink I got a fruit punch Jamaican juice/soda.
All of the food was delicious. The flavor was amazing and the cook was perfection on everything . Especially the chicken, fall of the bone and melt in your mouth goodness.
At each table, you have the option of a variety of hot sauces. All of which I tried and all of which were tasty.
I will be back! Do not miss this gem of Jackson, TN! You will not regret it!

The food is great here, I’ve ate here multiple times and it’s always delicious! The thing that ruins it is the customer service and the people behind the counter serving the food. The food was AMAZING!!! My daughter and I stopped on the way back to Nashville and we enjoyed every bite!!
We had the oxtails with an African donut bread with mac and cheese and cabbage. We had the beef patty with yams. We went as far as to try the yellow rice with the corn bread and plantains. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was delicious!

We absolutely love the food at this restaurant! We were married in Jamaica and the food is so good this place brings back such great memories. We actually attended a wedding party and the restaurant catered the event in the private dining area. It was decorated very nice and everyone had a great time! The bride and groom are wonderful people and with God’s Blessings they are going to have a long beautiful life, together.

I’d been hearing about this place for years from a good friend. I finally made a point to stop there and eat last week. I hate that it took me this long, because it was simply amazing! I had the jerk chicken, peas and rice, and plantains. The place is very clean and everyone was friendly. I can’t wait to take my family. You’ve earned another loyal customer.

I’m an OTR truck driver who parked at the pilot down the street and decided to Door Dash from this restaurant. And WOW am I glad I did! I bought three dinner plates lol you know leftovers for a couple days anyway Jerk chicken was Fantastic! Ox tail was to die for and don’t get me started on the Curry chicken!!! Everything fell off the bone and left me wanting more! Keep up the good work over there!

I went here with my son. We were headed to a different restaurant but when we passed this place he told me I had to try it. He was right. It’s the best jerk chicken I’ve ever eaten! And the sides were so good! The chef came by, and he was a great guy! Service was fantastic. We’ll be back soon. I want to try several other things on the menu. I did make a huge mistake by not trying to beef patty, even though I was stuffed after the chicken! I live in Nashville, and we don’t have anything comparable here.

I just can’t. And I tried again yesterday. I’m just not gonna struggle with ordering food from a non-Jamaican who doesn’t speak English. So of course she got my order wrong. I just left. I expect Jamaicans to be cooking Jamaican food. Is that too much to ask? And this used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Jackson.
